The apartment is close to Penn State. You'll love the proximity to Penn State for football games. State college is only 15 minutes from the house. We are 5 minutes from the town of Bellefonte. The apartment is a two bedroom and one bath space. This is a basement apartment that is newly renovated. There is a seperate entrance to the property and there is no one on premise during your stay. Enjoy the outdoor patio and view.

The basement apartment attached to the house is beautiful and very clean. The property owner communicated well and was very accommodating. It was a perfect location and close to PSU.

Beautiful views close to Beaver Stadium

Property is as listed and the hosts are amazing. They were super reponsive and made sure we had everything that we needed. The views from the propery were fantastic even though the rain continued through most of our stay. Would definitely stay again if our plans bring us back to the area.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding Property #3002711, "Penn State Football Modern 2 Bedroom," located in Bellefonte, PA. This property is in direct violation of VRBO's Shared Spaces Policy, which states that guests must have exclusive access to the entire rental space and that access to the rental must not be through the host's living area, with a lock controlled solely by the guest. Upon arrival, we discovered that this property is a basement apartment beneath the host's residence, connected to the main living floor via an interior staircase. The door at the top of that staircase has a lock that is not controlled by us as guests, meaning the host can enter our rental space at any time without our knowledge or consent. Furthermore, the listing describes the property as "the house" — with no disclosure that guests are renting a basement unit beneath an occupied residence — which we believe constitutes a material misrepresentation of the property.

Hello, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We will update our listing to mention that the apartment is in the basement. I hope you felt at home in the space. I want to ensure you and all other renters that there are no other people on premise during renters stay. To be clear the rental is a basement with a separate entrance from the other part of the house. As for the staircase leading to the upstairs, we didnt think about that as no one is upstairs during your stay. To ensure absolutely privacy and ease of mind we will be installing a privacy lock on the upstairs door on the renters side. Thank you again for your review so that we may better serve our renters in the future.

Beautiful and modern getaway

the unit had all benefits of modern and peaceful apartment that allowed our first year PSU student to enjoy the comforts and peacefulness of home while only being 15 minutes away from the university. We enjoyed being able to spend time as a family in a relaxed and beautiful setting. The owners appeared to think of everything that might make our stay more enjoyable, while providing little "welcome to our home" touches that you would expect from a relative. We would recommend it to anyone looking for something different than the chain hotels or the hunting cabin experience.
