The property was not cleaned before we arrived. Pet hair and the smell of pet urine was very prominent inside. The images of the “playroom” are misleading. It is in a shed outside not within the home. That should be cleared up in the listing. From the front deck not cleaned and porch furniture disheveled - to the inside smelling of pet urine- and dirty laundry being in the laundry room- it dampened our trip that was suppose to be stress free. No sweeping, dusting, showers dirty. While the host refunded some cost and that was appreciated, they took over 2 days to respond to the initial concern- clearly the care was just not there. There were other concerns I won’t list, I hope our experience was a fluke. The cabin clearly has had great experiences in the past, I think the pending sale of the home was where the towel was thrown in. We had to just laugh so it didn’t dampen our trip !
