Tha Kingfish Beach Home is a perfect getaway - light, bright and airy with outdoor space views from every window, vaulted ceilings throughout. Open floor plan with recent updates (two full sofas) includes large colorful kitchen (new stainless steel appliances), pub style dining table/bar stools with porch/bay view which expands into the living area. The spacious front porch balcony (11x22=242 covered sq. ft.) enjoyed by people/pets (for drying off after rinsing away beach sand in outdoor shower), has an outdoor sofa, large glass dining table with 6 chairs providing a glimpse of the Gulf and to enjoy the St. Joe Bay distant views; outdoor entertaining and coastal ambiance with table/2 chairs on level below.

The main floor: king bed in master bedroom with private master bathroom and gulf view, cable TV, DVD, free long distance telephone, berber carpet, chairs at window, storage/display, bedside table/lamp, nautical/masculine decor; queen bed guestroom with bedside tables, classic decor with beach theme accents, telephone, natural habitat view, adjacent full bath with beach theme and natural habitat view; well appointed large galley kitchen (with belgian waffle maker/large griddle/crock pots, etc.); living room with comfortable full-length sofas with room to stretch out and relax, whimsical fish decor, spacious dining room pub table with bay view, extra seating, expansive cable TV, DVD, internet and free long-distance telephones. A spiral staircase provides a large private loft with two full futons for seating and 3 twin mattresses for extra sleeping. Sleeps 6 adults comfortably, up to 8. Downstairs: enclosed outdoor shower w/ shower caddy, covered parking on concrete adequate for 4 vehicles and charcoal grill. Only a short walk to the beach through the complex (2 -3 minutes) with two dedicated boardwalks which everyone uses (1 -2 minutes), then a lovely path through protected sand dunes to private, world class beach. Parking for RV/boat/trailer in designated lot within complex. Convenient to local features: St. Joseph State Park, bay scalloping, Apalachicola antiquing, shelling, and fishing. Registrants must be 25 years of age.

Please note that if you have a pet, you must declare in the inquiry and rental agreement since an additional charge of $70 for a non-refundable deposit and $25 for cleaning (totaling $95) applies. Also, additional guests (and any accompanying pets) who visit must be declared to factor into the rate for use of the home. The determination of occupancy is not limited to overnight guests only. Heavy kitchen usage must be declared since this requires cleanup beyond normal use charge and extra cleaning charges will apply due to extra time and associated expense which must be declared at the time of inquiry and confirmation agreement to allow for full planning, cleaning arrangements and time for home preparation for next guest arrival. Our cleaning list and inspection list provides for documentation of excessive home wear, tear and usage.

Very private beach, lots of scenic water, dunes and natural habitat/foilage representative of Old Florida. To watch the dolphins feed/play in the water and view horseback riding on the beach while sun bathing on our secluded beach is amazing.

Yet another EXCEPTIONAL stay!! :)

From the moment we left Tha Kingfish back in December, my family and I started planning our return! The AMAZING owner Jeanie ( a God send in my eyes) had shared her true piece of paradise with us and we instantly fell in love with the home and its breathtaking surroundings!

This rental truly has became such a part of our hearts that my husband and I decided there was no other place better than to recommit our love for one another on our 15th wedding anniversary and we could not be happier with our decision!

The home is impeccable, the owner is AMAZING in every sense of the word, the beach is unforgettable and the locals in Cape San Blas are the kindest of souls.

My family and I have made the best of memories thanks to Jeanie and we pray that there will be many, many, many returns back to "our special place" aka Tha Kingfish, as my husband is already asking when we can plan our next return!

Thank you Jeanie for yet again sharing your piece of paradise with us, and for being the exceptionally wonderful person in which you are! We hope to return again very soon!!!!

We absolutely loved Tha Kingfish and Cape San Blas. 7 days just wasn't enough.

Tha Kingfish was very quaint. Perfect size for our family. Short walking distance to the beach. Jeannie was very helpful during the planning process.....gave wonderful recommendations on things to do, places to eat, etc. The only hitch was Tropical Storm Cindy but thankfully she passed through quickly. Highly recommend Tha Kingfish and Cape San Blas.

Perfect Place to Relax

My family and I had a wonderful vacation @ The KingFish. The weather was beautiful and the sunsets were gorgeous. This is definitely a must return vacation. Thankful that Jeanie allowed us to stay in our place.

The house was clean and a great design. The patio unfortunately faced a very busy road. The noise from the cars on this very busy road made it hard to hear when trying to have a conversation. The beach is great to walk on and there are lots of shells and wildlife to see. We fished right off the beach and caught fish we could eat. There are sharks so swim at your own risk. I caught a shark first day fishing!We did enjoy the Dolphins who swim close to shore throughout the day. The cape San Blas area is lovely and quite. Port St Joseph and Appallachicola are quaint little towns nearby.
