Renter received written notice prior to reserving that “No refund within 30 days”. I, as host, am penalized if I initiate cancellations. Renter was notified, in writing at time of rental to “contact rental support for any assistance related to cancellation or refund”. Host gets no access to any money. Owners are told to “avoid cancelling on behalf of guest as it results in fee assessed to owner. Renter’s only contact with owner was as he stood at condo and asked for condo code. He had first received it June 11th. I resent it and the door IMMEDIATELY opened. No other contact until he asked to cancel and get a refund as he needed to return home. Nothing else was said. Condo listed as unavailable from June 5th. Rental agency pays fees, taxes and has control of monies paid and not me. Any refund request MUST go to and be approved by company he sent monies to. Cancellation policy was sent upon rental and required he communicate through rental agency support. I could be penalized several hundred dollars were I to act without listing agency approval

I own the condo and take great concern about what you write. I live in Austin and pay a cleaning business to clean and maintain this unit. Clearly I am being mislead about what I was told was its condition before your arrival. I am confident everything you write about will be IMMEDIATELY corrected and I will request photos of cleaning being done in the future. Thank you for visiting North Beach Bobby

As we discussed, you are the first renter to occupy this condo since I ripped out and replaced the entire floor throughout the condo due to age and construction related issues. I know it wasn't totally ready for your visit and still has minor needed improvements but all new flooring was the reason. Thanks for your patience Additional remodeling is continuing.
