cute place to lay your head if you are in town for a long weekend, clean with add touches like cooking spices and laundry pods made this a more comfortable stay. Beds are a bit rough for my 6'3 partner and the sofa was smaller than the pics with only one of the 2 but other than that quiet neighborhood.

The place was clean, well-equipped and friendly and prompt communication, helpful with questions. I would suggest clarifying the price structure for number of people to rooms regarding the fourth bedroom space. Thank you for hosting us! We would rent your lovely house again.

Stay was excellent. Communication with host was top of the line. Only hiccup we had was the listing. Only if the host can change the way they list the property. List it as a 3 bd room instead of 4. The 4th bedroom was outside in the backyard .

I will never rent this property again. After I booked and paid for the house and met all the VRBO and house rules, the owner tried to get me to pay more for extra guests when it slept 6. There was only two of us, but if my 2 grandkids wanted to come stay the night, I would have to pay more. There was no mention of a fee for guests even though we were below the 6 person limit.

Good place

The house is nice,clean, and in a quiet neighborhood. Everything i needed was nearby like H.E.B., restaurants, and other shops.i would recommend this place to others.

She advertised this home rental inaccurately. It's only a 3-bedroom; the fourth room is only available when you have 8 or more guests, unless you want to pay extra for that last bedroom, which isn't stated before booking or after she tells you once you arrive. Also, on top of that, you're paying extra for any guest over 2, and the hand soap and dish soap are watery. We had to reach out for tissue and paper towels because we stayed 3 days with 6 guests and only 1 roll in each bathroom.

Relaxed Stay

Brought my family over to Sea World for a weekend and I gotta say….. we are so glad we decided to acquire this home for our San Antonio Trip. It was cozy, clean, and relaxing for a reasonable price.

Because the listing is misleading, this was a tough place to stay; my family would not ever recommend coming here to any other families. My older son did get the opportunity to join us last min & we could have maybe made it work, but the situation we were put into was strange and off-putting.The hardest part was finding out when we got there that the 4th bedroom was not inside the house but was in a shed in the backyard. Nowhere online is this stated, nor do the owner's pictures show this. On-line, my kids (20 & 12yrs.) thought it would be cool to stay in the room with the bunk bed. But the shed-room was outside and locked. We ended up getting charged by the host for more "cleaning" fees our night of arrival just to get access to a 4th bedroom they advertise. When we declined to pay the "cleaning" fee via personal banking apps, she charged us even more money for that fee.Maintenance was supposed to give us keys to the shed-room, but went into the backyard that night & unlocked it while we were in the house without telling us-left us with a feeling since it was after 10pm.We only stayed 2 nights, but we found a "beetle" or other insect in the shower, ants crawling in main bath sink drain, we were forced to leave the back door unlocked all night in case the kids needed the bathroom in the main house, the window a/c unit in the shed would shut off and took 13 hrs to cool the room, neighbors partied until 2am,excessive number of bad/cheap scent devices, cheap linens & towels.

After booking I received notification that I would get instructions on how to access the property on the morning of our stay including a code. Monica did contact me but didn't give me a code. She simply asked me to let her know when we were almost there so she could deactivate the alarm and she asked about our pet. I informed her that our pet was a small chihuahua. At that time she informed me that I needed to send her 40 as a pet fee. This was the first I had heard of a pet fee. The listing had stated "all fees included " when I paid the 600 fee for the rental. She wanted the 40 to be paid with cash app or zelle. I informed her that I don't use those apps and that I would arrange to send it to her once we arrive. After that text Monica went silent. In her last contact to me the code was stillshowing "TBD." We arrived in San Antonio at 6 pm. I contacted her again at 6:16 to let her know that we couldn't get in the house because we didn't have a code to open the door. Monica would not respond to repeated text and phone calls. We sat outside the house for the next 50 trying to figure out how to get into the house and repeatedly trying to contact Monica. We were becoming more frustrated by the minute wondering what we should do. Should we rent a room at a hotel, or return home for another 4 hour drive. I tried calling VRBO for help but the only code they had was also "TBD." Finally, at 7:05 Monica called me. She was at a party and that's why she didn't answer my calls and te

We usually take care of any requests or additional services before check-in time. We apologize for their lack of response.. Most guests know that pets pay a fee. this information is in our listing. And we were glad to inform you that your little chihuahua didn’t have to pay full pet fee.

Family Getaway Weekend

Super cute house. Love the giraffe decor. Really great bang for the buck. Decent neighborhood. Everything was very clean and communication with the owner was very easy and quick. Highly recommend.

Clean and cozy with a large back yard

Giraffe Cottage was a delight to stay in. Very clean with comfortable beds, smart TV in both the living room and bedrooms, and a huge backyard, completely enclosed. Floors are perfect for pets with easy clean up after a rainy day. Contact with owner was easy and prompt. I would definitely stay here again.

The Perfect Home Away From Home!

The Giraffe Cottage was conveniently located close to the medical center as we were in town for a family member to have a kidney transplant. The home was immaculately cleaned and well kept. Family had to stay in town with the transplant recipient for almost a month and the cottage was just the thing that made being away from loved ones a little easier! Perfect hosts also!
