Spacious 1,500 sq ft home fully remodeled in 2021, located in a quiet Newark neighborhood at the center of Silicon Valley's East Bay. Perfect for families, work trips, or group stays.

SLEEPING (up to 10 guests):
- Bedroom 1: 2 queen beds
- Bedroom 2: 1 queen bed
- Bedroom 3: 1 queen bed
- Living room: sofa bed (sleeps 2)

THE SPACE:
Open-concept layout with a fully equipped kitchen, large dining table, and 75" 4K Smart TV with streaming. Work remotely with 400 Mbps high-speed Wi-Fi and a dedicated workspace. Full-size washer and dryer in the garage, exclusively for guests.

- 2-car garage + 2 driveway spots (4 vehicles total)
- Smart lock self check-in — no key exchange needed
- Full private access to the entire house and backyard

Clean and Quiet

The property was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. Just what we were looking for. The property has a few quirks (outlets that don't work, oddly small bedroom, etc), but so do most vacation rentals. The main living space has an open layout with newer finishes. The big bedroom with two queen beds, it's own bathroom, and large walk-in closet is at the top of some narrow stairs. Not ideal for our family, but may not be an issue for others. The two smaller bedrooms are downstairs and share a large bathroom. We enjoyed watching the neighborhood cat colony. They won't let you pet them, but they are entertaining. Overall, we liked staying in this property.

We chose this neighborhood for its central location: Tesla, Meta, and major tech corridors are under 15 minutes. Three airports (SFO, SJC, OAK) are all within 30 minutes. Ranch 99 Market, Safeway, and a great stretch of Vietnamese and Chinese restaurants on Thornton Ave are a short drive away.

At the same time, the streets are calm, the neighbors are friendly, and Newark Community Park is a 5-minute walk. It's the kind of neighborhood where you can decompress after a long day — which is exactly what we wanted for our guests.
