Mahalo for your thoughtful and detailed review. We are happy that you enjoyed the location and floor plan at Hale Mar. We are so sorry if the bathrooms appeared dirty. The slate tiles and black toilets amplify the hard water stains to a high degree. The original owner of the house made some unfortunate design decisions that can cause the appearance of cleaning issues even though every surface is thoroughly scrubbed in between every guest. The bathroom fixtures are also hard water stained, and we are working with the owner to replace them. We will ask the owner about painting the garage, but in an oceanfront jungle environment, there's always repairs and upgrades needed and it's often best to apply funds to more crucial projects. I have alerted our handyman about the screen door so he can fix it right away. Remember we are just a call, text, or email away if there's any maintenance that needs doing. I will alert our housekeeping manager about the top of the fridge and the back of the closet. Most of our rentals do have cameras pointed at the driveway, and the ocean front properties have cameras pointed at the ocean cliffs behind the homes. We have had the hot tub lid in transit for almost 6 months! One of the unavoidable challenges of life on this tiny rock surrounded by thousands of miles of ocean ;-) We appreciate your feedback, and bringing these issues to our attention.
