Pet and Guest Retreat

Clean and well stocked. Yard is great if you have a pet. My husband and I have stayed here several times, and obviously the hosts continue to maintain and improve the house.

Home away!

We enjoyed our stay for almost a whole month! The yard was great for my dog, the neighborhood was wonderful (my son even made a friend with the neighbor). The home was welcoming. We felt very safe in the neighborhood. Great communication with Jamie. I'd stay here again next year!

Westbury birthday party

Made a visit for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday party. They live a 5 minute walk away from this property so very convenient.Plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 young kids with a bunch of fun toys available for the little ones.

Family city adventure

This property was perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers. We visited Houston for Spring Break as my husband had work there early in the week. The house was close to the Rodeo at NRG and close to shopping and restaurants in the Galleria area and Post Oak area. Our host was very responsive to our questions.

Cute house and neighborhood

This house is cute but definitely older with remodeling. The neighborhood is upper adorable and easy to access. The house was older than expected and had some quirks like no outlets in the first bathroom. We had a lovely time

Unfortunately, the pictures are better than the actual. It is a very old house. There are no plug-ins in one of the bathrooms, so you need an extension cord. But the worst part about our stay was the HOST. We stay at VRBO's all the time (10 per year). From the beginning, she never even texted (like most do) to see if we got to her home ok, then the next day to see if we were ok with everything. Additionally, we called the host about TV problems, and pretty much it was our problem. We finally figured it out but she could have cared less. Then, we had toilet problems, and that took 2 days to fix. We care about the house we stay at explicitly-we expect the same care when we need help. WE NEVER FELT WELCOME IN THIS VERY OLD HOUSE. It seems we could have been happier somewhere else that charges the same or less.

This is a spacious home in a well established family friendly neighborhood. Older home that has been nicely upgraded. The neighborhood is tucked away - quiet with big shade trees and sidewalks. 15 min to NRG. 35 Min to Space Center. 15 Min to many restaurants. Easy to get onto 610. The city park/tennis courts/pool area is a 10-15 min walk but we rode the bikes over there. You cannot see the park area from the house. The 3 "real" bedrooms are big; there is a flex room that triples as a bedroom/playroom/office. There were a lot of toys for kids 8 & under and a cabinet of games for adults and bigger kids. Very kid friendly house. We loved NO Highway Noise! Very Clean! Curtains! (so many VRBOs do not have curtains) Big Spaces, natural light, fenced backyard, everything in the home was in good working order. Bathrooms were stocked well with towels & TP. The description mentions a foosball table but host was clear ahead of time that that is no longer there. Host a little slower than some to respond on the messages, but everything was answered without issue. Our family would stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay. The house is perfectly located, and the host was incredibly responsive whenever we needed anything. My son especially loved that the home was so well-stocked with toys, which made our trip much more enjoyable. Highly recommended for families!
