This is a wonderful property. It’s right on the bay with beautiful views and a short walk to the beach. There were plenty of kitchen tools, extra towels, extra blankets, etc. all the bedrooms have closets so our suitcases had a home which was nice. We have a full-sized SUV and it fit just fine in the garage. It takes some strategic backing up and the garage door had a pool noodle attached that acted like a little bumper when the top of our car (racks) rubbed the garage door, but it was very doable. It is a long garage so there was plenty of space to put coolers, wagon etc. the washer and dryer are in the very back of the garage as well, which worked great for us. There were 4 beach chairs, an umbrella, toys, and some boogie boards. The beds were pretty comfy which made the stay even better. I would stay here again. It was close to everything we wanted to do.

Lovely, quiet, and clean property in an ideal location. Walk to coffee shops or two beaches - one on the bay and one on the ocean. Plenty of room and we felt right at home.

Location is perfect! It is a very nice, clean and roomy home with great views and balconies. The patio and fire pit are great for a drink on the beach and making s’mores! The kitchen has everything you need and more for making meals. The host made it easy to check in. Great messaging and communication.

Bayfront Gem Review

The only NEGATIVE thing that I have for this property is by removing the stacked washer dryer from INSIDE the house and putting a REGULAR washer dryer in the garage created a horrible problem in getting both of our vehicles in the garage. One SUV and one small sedan can fit, however we can no longer shut the garage door. I would really like to see the washer dryer moved somewhere else. This is, however, a BEAUTIFUL unit.

Great place! Great location!

We loved the place and the location. Parking was a challenge as we had two cars but we were able to find parking and then walk to the place. Overall it was a great place to stay and I would recommend it for a stay on the beach.

Amazing location

You cannot beat the location. The master bedroom was a favorite with the Jaccuzi bathtub and huge walk in closet. The view from the bed was lovely to wake up to each morning.

Nice rental location. It was great for our family. It was on the bay side, and the pictures were accurate about the beach and location. We loved the boardwalk right outside the front door. Also, the ocean side is only two or three blocks away, so we did walk over there several times. It is close to many places to eat. The bay side is a bit more quiet and was enjoyable for us.

A delightful stay and a perfect location

The location was perfect, great accomodations, perfect appliances, outdoor eating area with a firepit and just step out and enjoy the bay. When we return to San Diego we will see if this unit is available first.

Bay Stay

Enjoyed sitting on the patio and bedroom balcony overlooking the harbor and watching the world go by on the boardwalk.Great location and would recommend the Funky Lemon for breakfast or lunch. We were here on an August weekend and it was quiet.

Amazing time…great location

We had a wonderful vacation. You can walk to the ocean and to many restaurants. The master suite is beautiful with an amazing view with a balcony. The host was very responsive and definitely met our needs.

Wonderful Stay

We had an amazing stay with Drift Vacation Homes! From the very beginning, their communication was quick, helpful, and genuinely friendly. The rental was beautifully decorated, spotless, and felt very welcoming. The fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed, which made our stay incredibly convenient. We also loved that they provided beach towels and beach chairs — such a thoughtful touch. The beds were extremely comfortable, with plenty of extra bedding available. Check-in and check-out were seamless thanks to their clear and excellent communication from start to finish. The location was absolutely perfect, nestled between the bay and the beach, with a beautiful view that made our stay even more special. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend Drift Vacation Homes!
