Lovely cabin with great views! The location was perfect for us. Very spacious and well-appointed with everything we needed. There is a new gas/grocery/liquor complex just down the road as well as several local spots for dining. Communication was fast and friendly. Would definitely stay again!

Beautiful home and a beautiful view.

Our host was great and excellent to communicate with. The house is lovely, spacious and situated with a beautiful view. Easily accessed off the main highway. Highly recommend as a place to stay.

Thank you Cecil! I am embarrassed and need to apologize for my review. You took excellent care of our home, followed all of our rules, had great communication and just great humans!!! Any host would be honored to host you. While I was filling out the review from my phone, a button stuck on my cell and gave a 4 instead of a 5 star under “followed house rules”. You definitely followed all rules and that should have been a 5 just like the other categories. I called and argued to get them to change it or to allow me to change it but I was told once it’s submitted it cannot be changed. I feel horrible and just wanted to explain myself to you. Again, I’d love to host you anytime! Stefanie

Great Place in Beautiful Setting

Stayed with Friends for a fishing/hiking vacation. Property was a great place to stay and allowed us access to many of the outdoor activities. Nice kitchen/porch and spectactualr view for cooking dinner and having drinks while the sun started to go down. Host was great and easy to communicate with. Would absolutely stay here again if we come back to this area.

This house was great. It was clean, had a great location, spacious, nice amenities, and best of all was the view from the deck…absolutely unmatched. I will 100% stay at this house next time I’m in Cooper Landing. Highly recommend!

Great place

What a fabulous property. Just 5 minutes from town. Fantastic views of Kenai Lake, tons of wildflowers and wildlife. This is a place we would stay in again. Stefanie is a wonderful host. She is very attentive, while not being intrusive. She makes sure you have everything you need to have a great vacation.

This house was so nice! Plenty of towels and bedding/blankets. Might not matter to everyone but it was noticed by all of us. Plenty of space for the 7 of us and easy to find. Communication wasn’t a problem at all! Highly recommend

Came to Alaska to try fly fishing with my brothers and nephew. Experience was fantastic and this home was like an oasis. Nicely appointed, clean, the host was very responsive and..:the view. Every night on the deck overlooking the water and mountains. Awesome

Cooper Landing Perfection!

Seculded very well equipped house with amazing views made this house a perfect location for our week in Cooper Landing. Stefanie was an amazing host who was just a text away and so interesting to talk to about the local area, you can feel her passion for Alaska and the abundant wildlife that make their home here. Beautiful wildflowers covered the grounds making it a perfect setting for a great vacation. This house is so well equipped there was nothing that we needed that wasn't supplied! We did not have to travel far from this very comfortable home to find incredible rivers and streams for fishing. You will not be disappointed with this VRBO! We hope to return again. Thank you!

Wow! This place is very special! The setting is so magical-it’s surrounded on all sides by mountains and you can see them so well from the windows in the living room, kitchen and dining area, as well as from the large back deck. We ended up eating most of our meals here instead of going out, because the kitchen had everything we needed, and the views were so spectacular. The house was immaculately clean and we had plenty of towels. We all slept extremely well because the beds were very comfortable, with soft linens and good pillows, and it’s very quiet here. We loved that the windows all had screens so we could sleep with our windows open. Stefanie was great to work with, promptly answering our questions both before and during our stay. We really couldn’t have had a better place to call home in Cooper Landing. This is the perfect place to use as a base for enjoying the activities in the area, including hiking and fishing, as well as going down to Seward to experience Kenai Fjords National Park. And the drive from Anchorage to Cooper Landing along Turnagain Arm is spectacular as well. This is truly a gorgeous part of Alaska! Thank you to the Peterson family for sharing your beautiful home with us-we had a wonderful stay!!
