Perfect for a family get away

House exactly like advertised. A short distant (4min)drive to public beach...easily could walk or bike if you wanted too. Would stay here again

First trip as a family of 3

House was great for us. It was our first trip with our 10 month old and they had a high chair and a baby gate. The hot tub and pool were great. Our trip was shortened by hurricane Dorian, but the property management team was awesome in their communication with us and reimbursement from trip insurance was easy.

Corolla Vaca

The only reason why I did not give this property a 5 star rating was because the house was not very clean when we got there. Half a doughnut by the couch, mascara tube on bathroom floor, sticky handprints in the kitchen window. Other than that, the house is beautiful. Loved the pool and the neighborhood. Easy access to the beach. We rode our bikes everywhere. I would recommend this property!

A bit run-down and dingy

Overall feeling of this rental house is “dingy” - everything inside has seen better days - stained carpet; old, lumpy mattresses; holes patched in bathroom walls but not repainted; “all stick” pots and pans (I thought I could save money by cooking, but the electric stove that didn’t heat and terrible cookware ruined that plan); broken/cracked wine glasses in cabinet; dirt and debris in the silverware drawer; no vacuum to keep space tidy; no bath mat or area rugs in bathrooms - just dangerous; plastic pool furniture was cracked & dirty - needed to be hosed down; disappointing pool area, leaves and broken shells on the pool deck - not safe for kids or anyone’s feet; the instructions on the fridge are outdated - from height of the pandemic?!?! I have photos if you need them.

Girls Weekend

Rented the house for a long weekend to celebrate my oldest daughters upcoming wedding. Had her bridesmaids, sisters, a cousin and her Aunt (my sister) there. The house was perfect for our needs. Loved using the pool and hot tub. Plenty of room and the bedrooms were great for our needs. The only complaint I have is the grass and landscaping was terribly overgrown. We were a little worried about coming across snakes going to the pool and the bugs were really bad and that may be because of the time of year but I’m thinking that maybe if the grass had been taken care of they wouldn’t have been as bad. Also there were lots of spider webs on the decks I had to kill three really big spiders (two on hot tub deck and one on the deck leading to the pool). Again that may have been caused by the overgrown lawn. The house was very clean but there was a bit of an ant problem in the kitchen that I was able to take care of the first night we were there because there was some ant spray in the house. Didn’t have any more issues with ants after that. Could not find where they were coming from. Despite those two issues we really enjoyed ourselves and would come back again.

Hi Tamara, thank you for your kind review. The landscaping of this property is being handled by a vendor of the owner of the property. I personally was at the property when you checked out and saw the same thing. We're getting to the bottom of why this vendor is not taking care of the exterior and will take appropriate actions so this isn't repeated. In the future, please report this kind of stuff to us as soon as you see it. We would have had it all cleaned up and taken care of with our in-house services just to improve your stay. Would Not Rent With Outer Banks Blue Again

Arrived at the property at the late end of check in (4-6pm) only to find out it hadn’t been cleaned from the prior renters. 9 phone calls and/or voicemails later, as no one that can help is available after 5pm, and we were finally able to get someone out to clean it after 8pm and we didn’t get in until after 10pm. It was def not a thorough clean job at all as there was a clump of hair on the shower wall and what we believe was blood on the tub ledge. The pool was dirty and at least one of the beds only had a sheet, no mattress pad, along with nail clippings on the living room carpet. A 4 bedroom house def needs several hours to clean. After a 14 hour day driving and 2 toddlers we were only offered a $110 refund for the cleaning fee. On top of that we lost out on our first evening there and had to pay to eat out as we couldn’t get into the house. Customer service is def lacking and we will not be booking through Outer Banks Blue again.

Beth, As we said when you were here, we apologize for this rough start to your stay. There was an obvious miscommunication on the this cleaning. We do have people on duty after hours, and you were able to reach them right away on your arrival. It did take us 2 hours to get to the house due to heavy traffic that evening, but it was our expectation the house would be thoroughly cleaned. Typically the crew that goes to take care of these things makes sure you are satisfied with the cleaning before they leave. We regret that you were not satisfied with their work. The pool was cleaned the day of your arrival. As you stated we did try to make this right by refunding the cleaning costs to you, and we regret this situation occurred. It is not our standard.

Family trip to Corolla

I visited Corolla and stayeed at the seascape ct property with my family and a couple friends. The place was great. Lots of room and the pool and hot tub were a bonus. Was an easy walk and short drive to Bonita St. Beach. A few issues firs day were addressed promptly. Overall a great stay.

Corolla Coral stay

The house was clean, nicely appointed, and the perfect size for our group. It is in a nice neighborhood in Corolla, 10-15 minute walk to beach or a short drive or bicycle ride. Also close to shops and restaurants. The pool was great in the evenings.

Amazing

We loved this property! The kitchen, living room, and dining room were all open with lots of windows. The pool and hot tub were so nice as well as the hammock swing by the hot tub. I highly recommend this house! A short drive to the beach.

The house was great--layout is very handy. We had 10 members of our family there -worked very well.

The location was very nice. We loved having a pool and a hot tub and the entrance to the beach was easy. The layout is great for sleeping, eating together , and playing games or watching TV. A very nice area-close to historic sites-- Corolla Park, where we were fortunate enough to see fireworks on the lawn !There were 10 of us--the youngest being 12- The house was clean and had a good kitchen area to work with and eat all together. The bathrooms -3 and 1/2 was good. We all liked the decks-extension of the rooms and yet right there with each other. Needless to say, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay..

Vacationing in OBX is awesome

The house fit our group perfectly. The kids were on the middle level and the the gathering area in the upstairs was perfect for our group of 7 adults and 3 kids to spend quality time together. The pool was wonderful. The BBQ grill is awesome. With three decks to choose from, there was plenty of shade. The internet is DSL and extremely slow. Our only real complaint is that there are giant spiders and webs everywhere but on the same hand, no mosquitoes! Beach is a short car ride away. Amazing time had by all.
