Peaceful cottage loaded w/4 season outdoor activities, 15 mi from Mt Sunapee, steps from ohrv/nature trail system, 160 feet of clean, private waterfront w/walk in water access, fire pit, & private boat dock. Swim, boat, hike, fish, bike, relax in the hammock & watch the sun set.

Games & books, wood stove, fully stocked kitchen w/micro & gas range, fast wifi, 2 smart TVs, 5 beds.

Towels, linens, toiletries, pantry basics and more incl to keep packing light....just bring clothes & groceries!

Welcome to your quiet, nature filled getaway nestled in a friendly cove on crystal clear Crescent Lake!

Super charming, expanded original NH lakeside cottage.

Wood/solid floors throughout that have a festive slant to them! Vaulted ceilings on the lake side.

Expanded cottage kitchen is fit for any cook. It's complete with fully stocked coffee and tea station, waffle iron, blender, and all appliances, tools and basic pantry items. The kitchen leads in to the "nature lounge" room with dining area and awesome lake view, walk through the French doors to a separate TV room with deck access. Two official bedrooms: one queen master, one w/xl twin bunks. Two extra twin beds in lounge.

Generously sized bathroom with shower stall.

Gas grill, table, large cooler and seating around the fire pit already there for outdoor living. Choose the hammock or an Adirondack from the deck to watch the sunset from. Kayak, canoe and multiple floats are there and ready for you to get on the water.

Bring your boat! Bring your tube and waterskis and fishing gear! We have a private dock and 160 feet of water front. Just don't bring your jet ski, association doesn't allow them.

Very clean and peacful. Had everything uou could think of. Just be mindful the freezer is very small. I brought tons of freezer stuff but it all worked out. I just put some in the fridge to eat first.

Perfect Springtime getaway!

This was the perfect spot for a little Spring time getaway before the craziness of summer. Peaceful water view, lovely walks along the lake with many friendly fellow walkers and residents. Definitely on my list to return as it's an easy 1 hour drive for me. A friend joined my on day 3 & 4, she loved it too.

Another Great Stay At The Cozy Crescent Cottage

We had a wonderful long weekend stay at the cottage on Crescent Lake! The place has all of the amenities that you need for a relaxing and fun filled time on the lake. We will definitely be back for another stay next year!

Really comfortable stay on crescent lake. Beautiful views in the morning! Owners were really communicative and helpful both prior to our stay and during our stay.

We had a fun and relaxing week at the Cozy Crescent Cottage. It was the prettiest spot on the lake with amazing sunsets. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, kayaking, and hiking on nearby trails. The nearby waterfall was my favorite spot. The T-shirt Shop was a fun, well-stocked surprise, and we made several trips for souvenirs! The cottage was so well equipped for cooking all our meals. The attention to detail in the cottage made you realize Melanie and Glenn care about making it a stress-free and wonderful place to recharge and build family memories. They were quick to answer questions and even checked on us after a thunderstorm. We would highly recommend the cottage and would like to return someday.

Nature Oasis

My dad, husband, and I all gravitated to the back deck and view of the lake. It was so peaceful and pleasant. The birds eating bugs in the air and ducks with their ducklings provided hours of viewing pleasure. We'd report to eachother when a certain momma duck was back and gather to watch the ducklings. Fishing, kayaking, biking around the lake and walking the nature trail, were all great too, but nothing compared to being so connected to the lake.

Absolute paradise! Hubby and I woke up at 5am every morning just to have a cup of coffee in front of the huge picture window overlooking the pond! Hosts were super quick to respond with any questions!! Cottage was cozy and VERY well equipped! The weather wasn’t super cooperative, so we are looking forward to rebooking to a time that we could utilize the outdoor amenities…. But it just gives us a reason to come back!! Relaxing and fun trip with our family and dog!

The pictures didn’t do this place justice, we were pleasantly surprised the house was bigger than we thought and so adorable. There were boats to use and everything we needed including lots of comfy places for a nap! The lake was warm and so clear. We had such a wonderful vacation, would highly recommend!!!

Cozy Crescent Cottage offered a peaceful retreat!

Cozy Crescent Cottage was fantastic! Melanie and Glenn were excellent hosts and great to communicate with, always responding super fast! The cottage is adorable with everything you could possibly need. The cottage was very clean, and the people we met up there were super nice. My sister and I truly enjoyed our stay and would go back again.

Cozy Cottage

My husband & I needed a break before summer started & our work lives get crazy. This beautiful cottage was exactly what we needed. The peacefulness while watching birds & wildlife. The only know is go shopping prior to arriving. We went to Shaws that was 17 min away. It was so grossly over priced. Maybe due to the remoteness of the area....other than that this was a fantastic getaway.

Great weekend trip!

This cottage is adorable, well-stocked, clean, and in a gorgeous setting. The hosts were communicative and also laid back and supportive. This was the perfect spot for a friend get-together and would also be great for families. We stayed in the fall and the foliage was beautiful. The surrounding nature trails were lovely.

This was our second stay at the cozy cottage amd was just as enjoyable as the first time . Glenn and Melanie are very responsive and like to makesure their guests are comfortable and happy . NH Ski Getaway

We stayed at this beautiful cottage located on a lake for a ski vacation and we loved it. The style of the cottage is adorable and cozy. When we weren't skiing we loved hanging out by the wood burning stove, working on the puzzle, or watching movies as a family in the back room. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Absolutely Stunning

What a wonderful place to stay! It’s an absolutely gorgeous property right on the lake with amazing views. Our kids canoed, fished and hiked. It was so incredibly peaceful that none of us wanted to leave. Melanie and Glenn were excellent hosts!

Cozy, comfortable stay

This lake house is an ideal relaxing getaway. My family stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed the well-equipped kitchen, beautiful deck, and lake amenities. We had our meals on the deck by sunset, went swimming, floating, canoeing, and built a fire each night as well. Don't miss the adorable local t-shirt shop, and the nearby walking trails, which are lovely, and be sure to hit up Balthazar's Ice Shack for ice cream.

Wonderful stay at a beautiful little cottage!

My husband and I (and our dog) had a great experience at this adorable lake house. The house and property are exactly as listed and the host was very quick to respond to messages and texts when we had questions. Even on the one rainy day of our trip the view of the lake was beautiful and we had fun playing games inside while looking out at the water. We definitely plan to return in the future!

Cozy cottage

It was a nice little cottage with a great view. The property was clean and well appointed as described. The hosts clearly take pride in their property and are responsive and kind. If you are looking for a locale where you can quickly get to a town/shopping/dining, this is not the ideal place, but we enjoyed staying here and explored. Would definitely go back.

cozy and clean

This is a cozy and clean cottage on the waters edge. The owners are friendly and easy to contact as well as helpful. The property is very clean and well organized with plenty of sleeping and seating areas. Not to mention well supplied from the kitchen to the recreation areas. There is plenty of wild life to observe as well as beautiful scenery. We thoroughly enjoied ourselves and will be booking again in the future.

We are an active family from Southern NH. For nearly 10 years we have owned and operated a popular community cafe, and so we are no strangers to the service industry. We love to travel, so when the pandemic demanded some changes for us in 2020, we sunk our trust into some carefully selected properties (we currently have three! look at us go!) and began listing them as short term vacation rentals when we aren't enjoying them ourselves. Come visit when we can't!

This settled little cottage is nestled in a nature lovers dream land. Its only an hour from MHT airport, but it feels like its 40 or 50 years back in time . The lake frontage can't be beat, there's well over 100 feet of shoreline, mixed with gentle walk-in sand bottom, (great for littles!) And a dock! The quiet community of owners at Crescent Lake is small and kind, and this lake house life is great for families or for those who want to disconnect from the hustle bustle and slow down for mental health's sake. Basically it's ok if you've lost your marbles, because the floors are too crooked to play them here anyhow! It's just what the Dr ordered!!

Theres a brook to one side of the property, and some easy sunny rocking chairs on the front porch to listen to the babble and the birds. Inside, the calming benefits of an old fashioned NH cottage (let the front screen door slam!) meet modern amenities like smart tvs, chargers, and fast wifi. We LOVE it here and hope you will too.
