Located on 1.7 acre of farmland in the rolling hills of North Georgia, the Cumming Duck Farm House sits above a peaceful pond overlooking a farm. This is a great getaway from the City for couples or a family. 40 minutes from Buckhead Atlanta, 5 minutes to upscale local shops and restaurants, and 10 minutes to rural antique collector shops and family farm activities, this relaxing cabin retreat provides a refreshing recharge of the body and mind. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. A charming farm gate welcomes your arrival. Open uncovered parking can accommodate up to 6 cars. The Cumming Duck Farm House has an open floor plan great for families or work retreat. Get a fresh cup of Kuerig-made Starbucks coffee every morning and watch TV on our brand new 55 inch 4K UHDLED Toshiba Fire TV with upgraded high speed1Gbps Broadband Internet and wifi throughout the property. The cabin house includes the Pekin Suite (bedroom 1) with a King Bed adjacent the Pekin Bath (private bathroom), and 2 spacious bedrooms (the Mallard Room and Widgeon Room) each with a Queen Bed, with access to an adjacent to the Duckling Bath (a full bathroom). The Gathering Room (our living area) is a large open area for dining and entertaining, with a sectional sofa, coffee table, lamp, wine refrigerator, new Room and Board 72” x 30” walnut top table and 6 farmhouse dining chairs. These areas open into our fully-equipped Farm Kitchen and the Pastoral Deck overlooking lush farm pastures and a nearby pond. The House is fully furnished with an eclectic mix of modern and farm house decor, and the Pastoral Deck is also furnished with a porch swing and cushioned seating for evening conversations. Our Pastoral Deck includes a Big Green Egg grill and Yeti 45 cooler for your outdoor enjoyment. We also have Solo Bonfire 2.0 fire pit and outdoor furniture setup for sitting in the pasture watching the stars and moon rise over the farm. The Farmhouse Kitchen is fully equipped with an electric range and oven, pots and pans, plates and dining ware, refrigerator / freezer, convection toaster oven, Keurig coffee maker, crockpot, and hot water kettle. An ample portion of the 1.7 acre property adjacent to the house and driveway is fenced.
