Ocean Breeze - Local Cottage

Ocean Breeze is small and discreet beachfront space that specializes in long stays (6 nights and up) and caters to adults who want seclusion, privacy, peace and quiet.

Owned & managed by a British/Filipino team, we are family entrepreneurs who try to bring quality to all we do.

This "Bahay Kubo" is a small, locally made cottage set in a peaceful garden. You will wake to bird song and watch the stunning sun sets on Baroro Beach -our clean, quiet beach, facing the West Philippines Sea.

The kubos have a private but simple, en-suite bathroom, double bed with pillows and bed linen, lights, power sockets, curtains on the windows, mosquito net, electric fan and a small table. The veranda is large enough to sit about 6 people and has a movable table and a light.

Ocean Breeze has a restaurant and beach bar plus a commissary selling water, beer, soft drinks and snacks. Above the restaurant is a digital/co working space free of charge and brewed coffee all day. Board and card games are available too if you start to feel bored!

Guests can use our private beach area, with BBQ stands, showers and bathroom facilities and rent kayak and surf boards.

We are located on Baroro beach, about 8 minutes from San Juan/Urbiztondo (the party areas) and close to the many interesting, off beat sights in the region.

How to get to us? From Manila city, Manila International Airport & Clarke Airport;

Option 1. Take a taxi to Partas Bus Terminals (here its called a bus but actually its a nice, long distance coach). Tickets cost about P800 and the travel time is about 6 hours.

Option 2. Order a Car Pool Service. This is a shared taxi that will pick you up and drop you off at our reception. It's about P2,000 per person. Alternately, there is a private taxi (usually a Toyota Innova) that offers a faster service and is more comfortable for accommodate up to 4 passengers for about P8,000.

We can arrange the Car Pools for you but you must give us at least 7 days notice.
