Come for the porch
Positives:
Stunning Porch and View: The porch and view are truly amazing. If your main goal is to relax on a covered porch while listening to the waves, this is the perfect spot.
Fantastic Layout: The open layout of the house is wonderful, providing a spacious and airy feel.
Convenient Location: The property is within walking distance of Reid State Park, which boasts an awesome beach.
Ample Drinking Water: The host ensured there was plenty of drinking water, and we never ran out.
Responsive Property Manager: The property manager was quick to respond and efficiently handled any issues that arose.
reas for Improvement:
Cleanliness: Unfortunately, the kitchen and its contents were very dirty upon arrival. The dishware, oven, countertops, and general kitchen area all required thorough cleaning before use.
Water Quality: We were surprised to find saltwater coming out of the fresh water taps. The sulpher is to be expected but salt water tells me there is a breach in the well. It affected our laundry. Our white clothes ended up stained with a beige tint.
Drainage Issues: The downstairs shower drain empties just outside the wall near the front door, causing dampness and an odd smell as you enter the house. Similarly, the kitchen sink drains directly onto the ground outside rather than being connected to the septic system.
Basement Condition: The basement is in poor condition, smelling of mold and cluttered with items. The pool table was unusable due to damage. Nor was there a ping
