Relaxing, convenient and comfortable

Our family stayed for a week in August and found this home comfortable, convenient and relaxing. The view from the back deck is breathtaking and the jacuzzi is great. Tom Hayes provided excellent details and recommendations for the area. The home feels secluded but you aren't very far from a great variety of activities the White Mountains have to offer.

Hiking Trip

Great location near Franconia State Park and numerous hiking trails. Great club amenities available with pools, exercise facilities, sauna, and spa. House was perfect for our family of 7. We went in June so off season was perfect for getting into State Parks and local trails but some restaurants were closed during the week. There is a hot tub at the club but not at the house as stated in VRBO.

Wonderful Place to Stay

This was a beautiful home to stay. The view is absolutely amazing. Especially when realxing in the hot tub. The house was extremely clean and everything was in working order. The pictures do not even do this house Justice. I cannot wait to come back in the fall and see the foliage on the mountain tops. Amazing Views !!!!!!!!!

Tom was very helpful and easy to work with. The property is beautiful and just as it is described. There was only 4 of us that stayed but the house can accomodate plenty more. Our favorite place to hang out was on the deck and in the hot tub. It was very relaxing and the views were amazing! There are plenty of activities and restaurants within minutes of the house. Flapjacks for breakfast is a must.. great food and service. The one request I would have for future stays would be some menus for the local restaurants other than that no complaints. We will most definately be back next year 😊

Great house with an amazing view!

The house was exactly as described. My group of friends and I enjoyed the space and amenities this house had to offer. We enjoyed the balcony with the hot tub and BBQ grill both nights we stayed. The kitchen and living room are big enough to hold a large group and the bedrooms are clean and provided enough towels and blankets for everyone! We definitely enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning this fall or winter! The location cannot be beat either, its 5 minutes from restuarants and entertainment (We chose to zip line!) and steps from Loon mountain ski lifts. The owner, Tom, was great and was very responsive to our reservation and questions! Thanks again!!

Mountain experiences

We stayed for a week at the home, accommodated the six adults and three young children perfectly. The home is everything as advertised. My family enjoyed the magnificent mountain views and the time spent in the Hot Tub while taking in the beautiful mountain views. Large family room allows for the entire group to enjoy. Everything you need is provided in the home, well stocked kitchen, two masters suites, laundry, and hugh deck with grill and hot tub. We had a great week visiting the New Hampshire sites and hope to return again in the future. Thank you Tom and family for allowing us to enjoy your home for the week. Mike

Another Great Family Weekend!

Dear Tom, Thank you so much for making it possible for our family to again spend its annual get-together at your Lincoln, NH home. We enjoyed it just as much this summer as last! We thoroughly enjoyed the spacious great room and the well-equipped kitchen, as well as the deck with its hot tub, grill, and gorgeous views. This year we rented bikes, took the shuttle to Cannon Mountain, and rode back to Lincoln along the paved bike path that winds through the woods before emerging at the Flume. It was a perfect ride for all of our bikers who ranged in age from 20 to 57 years old, but we've done it before when our "kids" were much younger ~ a highly recommended family activity. Your neighborhood is perfect for walks to Loon Mountain and to the river. A few members of our group constructed cairns with the rocks down at the Pemi. (The tallest had 25 layers!). Besides the wonderful accommodations, your attentiveness during our planning process was again greatly appreciated. We are so fortunate to have found your beautiful home for our family reunions. Wonderful Family Weekend!

Dear Tom, Thank you so much for making it possible for our family to stay at your Lincoln, NH home. We couldn't have had a better time. Your home is lovely. It was just as the listing described, but in person it was even better! The great room ~ with its high ceiling, openness, massive windows, and amazing views ~ was spectacular and so relaxing. We didn't turn the TV on even once! The kitchen was well-equipped ~ the granite counter tops, island, and dining table overlooking the mountains, were perfect. We cooked every meal in! The spacious deck, with plenty of seating and of course the hot tub, was a real treat. Lincoln offers so many options for activities. We hiked the Falling Waters trail (on Rt. 93 north), which is one of our favorites. We had hoped to take the bike path from Cannon Mountain back to Lincoln, but unfortunately there was not sufficient availability of bike rentals for our group on the day that we had planned. Other activities that we've done, and hope to do again include kayaking on the Pemi. (Bikes and kayaks can be rented right on Main St. in Lincoln.) Tom, you were so accommodating and attentive to details during the planning of our family gathering. This was truly appreciated. Our family has been getting together for the past 19 summers at the beginning of August. We hope to spend our 20th year reunion at your home in 2014! Thank you so much!! Take care!

Relaxation with a view

This is a great house with an exceptional view. Went with a group of 6 women to get away and relax. The living room furniture was great for all of us to sit comfortably. Kitchen was great for us to cook in. Enough sleeping room and bathrooms. If you are particular about your sheets and towels you might want to bring your own, as there were not many towels, especially with the use of the hot tub. Deck had 4 cloth lounge chairs and 2 upright cloth chairs, with some spare plastic chairs and one small round table. There was no umbrella, we didn’t need it but don’t know if you would in the summer. The gas fireplace was great as it was just a touch of a button and you had a fire. The WiFi was spotty, would go in and out, but we weren’t there to be on our social devices etc. but just something to note if you’re going there and must do a little work. And it did affect our music app but there are outdoor speakers that go to the TV that you could play music from. And just to note, we couldn’t get the TV to work, but didn’t care to much. I’m sure Tom would’ve come to help if we were dead set on using it. Our cell service was also spotty, mostly for calls. Texts seem to be ok most of the time. Tom was exceptional with communication throughout, right from the start of inquiring about the property and when we had a little mishap with a door handle coming off, he was there quickly to fix it. Overall we would stay again

Nice place, as advertised!

Nice place, fully equiped kitchen, listing very accurate. Things interesting to know: - you'll need to use your car to get to most things around. We were hoping we could walk to the river for example, or to some hiking trails close by, but it's too far. The one thing you can walk to is the Loon Mountain cabins, that's close enough. - there is no way to sit outside to eat. There are sun chairs, and the hot tub on the patio, but no table to sit outside. Gotta eat inside. - it can comfortably sleep 9 people, thanks to a futon (for the 9th person), but 10 is a stretch (the futon is not that big). It was a great experience, owner is very responsive. It was a nice location, very short drives to different hiking trails, spot to bath in the river, etc. It must quite nice in the winter too, very close to the slopes!

Wonderful home in Perfect location!

Our family of 6, kids ages between 20 and 27, stayed at Tom’s home for a week of hiking and family time. His home is very spacious and well taken care of! Tom’s notes were very helpful and he definitely cares about the quality of his home and meeting the needs of his guests! We spoke several times (minor questions) and he went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care of. And… huge plus was that all the beds are very comfortable. Thank you Tom! This home is absolutely amazing...

Everything you need is right here at Tom's vacation home. The home was spacious, we booked for 3 nights for a ladies weekend away. This was not the first time we booked at Tom's. The home is absolutely beautiful the rooms are well furnished, comfortable, but most of all clean like it was just built. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could possibly need. The views while sitting on the deck in the hot tub were amazing, or just relaxing by the fireplace reading a book, if it's a relaxing getaway your looking for, this is the place, just pack a bag and set sail for Tom's. Tom is a wonderful host to deal with, the info for the home is right at your finger tips, and this is minutes away from everything you will need to make this trip one you will keep going back to for rest, relaxation and a great time.

Magnificent Summer Home

Our family enjoyed this home tremendously. It was very clean and well cared for, and the furnishings were incredibly comfortable. The layout of the home was perfect for entertainment, quiet moments and unforgettable family memories. We loved the Jacuzzi on the deck, and were treated to shooting stars one night, and summer lightning flashes beyond the mountains another night! The huge windows and decks give breathtaking views of the mountains. The kitchen was a treat - so much space, and plenty of dishes, utensils, cookware, bake ware and appliances. It is very private, yet minutes from Loon activities and the restaurants & shopping of Lincoln. Tom was quick to respond to any question, and we highly recommend his beautiful home!

Great place to stay!

We have stayed at this unit and in the area several times in the past and always have such a great time! The house itself is well laid out for 2 families and there is plenty of space to hang out all together in the living room and kitchen area. It is well maintained and has stunning views! And the hot tub on the huge deck is our favorite part!!! We go up to the Lincoln area every fall to go to either Story Land or Santa's Village - both an easy drive away. We also go to Clark's Trading Post, the Polar Caves, and this year we did the adventure course and off roading experience and it was a BLAST! Tom, the owner, is very responsive and easy to work with. We highly recommend this rental!!

Beautiful setting; close to activities

We stayed here for a small family reunion and were very comfortable. The location is perfect for getting to the many hikes and other activities that the White Mountains has to offer. Our kids loved the hot tub. The kitchen was spacious and easy to use. The owner was very kind and responsive. Even without air conditioning, we were mostly comfortable with the good shade that the trees offer. The only reason I gave it four stars is that we chose to avoid staying in the lower level, as the air was stuffy down there.

Our favorite family tradition!

This was our 3rd time in this beautiful home! It was perfect for our family of 5, had 2 other people stay for the weekend comfortably, and even had another family of 4 visit for a BBQ (awesome huge grill) and a dunk in the hot tub. The views from the hot tub are the best of any home we researched. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need to cook/bake/grill. The deck is huge and can accommodate a big family, the living room and loft views are perfect. The master bedroom’s slider and porch are amazing, bathroom stand up shower and jacuzzi tub! So peaceful and serene for a vacation in the mountains!!! We look forward to our next visit!! Thank you!!!

Great mountain gataway

Had the pleasure of staying at Tom's home for the second time. Great views of the mountains from the deck and the kids enjoyed seeing them while in the hot tub. The home is equipped with everything needed to enjoy your vacation. The kids had a great time on Loon experienced the zip line and rock walls. We all enjoyed a very peaceful getaway.

My family had the absolute best time in this house for a week in Lincoln, NH. The views, the hot tub, the floor plan were all perfect for a couple and 3 kids, we had 2 grandparents come up for a couple nights too. The location is perfect, we LOVE Lincoln. The house was clean, plenty of towels, nice amenities, dinner outside, a full kitchen, great appliances and kitchenware, also the HOT TUB with OUTDOOR SPEAKERS!!! Great communication with Tom. We can't wait to come back!

What a view!

Lovely house with a amazing view Equipped with everything you could possibly need. Rooms are very spacious and the bed was super comfy. The best part was sitting out on the deck enjoying the view and soaking in the hot tub! Great location quiet, remote yet close to great restaurants. We will definitely be back!
