Best Bayfront Location in Captiva! All new luxury condo.

We know you will love our Captiva Island Hide-A-Way. The views of the bay are fantastic, especially at sunrise. Enjoy morning coffee on the lanai viewing dolphins and other sealife.
Our beautiful condo has been completely renovated and completed in June 2025. The results are beyond our expectations. The well stocked kitchen has quartz countertops and high end appliances. All the furniture is new. The dry bar has been a nice addition.

Our large heated pool sits right beside the bay and boat dock. All outside furniture is new.
Fishing from the dock has been a guest favorite.
Take a boat to another island from McCarthy's Marina, a two minute walk. Within five minutes walk to the beach for some of the best shelling and sunsets in the world. Restaurants, coffee shops, gift shops, island shopping also within a five minute walk.

You will find everything you need to enjoy this island paradise.

Absolutely Amazing!

We truly enjoyed our stay at John and Cindy’s condo, overlooking the peaceful marina. The property is on a prime location and within a few minutes walk from a restaurants, local mini mart store, and the Pristine beach. The view from the condo is spectacular! We enjoyed hanging out by the pool and soaking up the sun! Clyde, the property manager is awesome, super friendly and personable! Would highly recommend to anyone looking to “run away” from reality and visit paradise!

Just what we needed!

My husband and I were in desperate need of a getaway. This property was fantastic in every way. Very clean, well appointed, and the owners very responsive. Rose and Clyde are the on sight managers and are always there if needed. Very close to several restaurants and the beach is a short walk away. We loved it!

Paradise in Captiva

Property is as nice as it is in the listing. And walking distance to great restaurants. The property manager and owner were great through our entire stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Relaxing Getaway in Paradise

My husband and I stayed here for a week and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The condo is very comfortable, clean and centrally close to everything. Our favorite time was watching the sunrise and sitting on the porch for our happy hours. Captiva is a very tranquil and lush island. The owners are very gracious people who have provided everything you need. I love to cook and the kitchen had all the plates, cookware and spices you need. I usually bring my knives, and didn’t need to this trip. In addition, they have beach chairs, a beach umbrella, cooler and bikes. We are planning to book 2 weeks for our next visit. We had our groceries delivered from Jerry’s which saved us the hassle of having to go shopping. Well worth it. In addition, Clyde is the property manager and he is a kind and personable individual. Highly recommend this place for a relaxed vacation.

Perfect Getaway

It was hard to say goodbye! Everything about our trip was perfect. Having access to the bay, and only a short walk to the beach was all we could ask for. Highly recommend!

Great location, beautiful condo

This condo is exactly as represented in the property description. It was well kept and very clean with beautiful high end finishes and details throughout. The location is central and in easy walking distance to beach, marinas and several restaurants and shopping. The owners are gracious and the property manager was welcoming and helpful 💯 recommended.

Captiva Paradise ( Except for T/Storm Elsa )

It was our first time to Captiva Island and my wife and I could not be happier. We arrived at the property and found everything was better than described. The property was clean and neat and meticulously kept. The property manager Clyde made our stay even better. If you’re looking for a quiet place to enjoy Captiva Island this it. Everything that you want to do is pretty much within walking distance. My wife and I did have the misfortune of having to ride out tropical storm Elsa. I have to say this property was probably the best place to be on the island I felt safe secure and very lucky to be there. My wife and I look forward to returning.

Great Island Getaway!

Really enjoyed our stay at Captiva Hideaway - great space for our family of four! Nice and quiet with great views of the bayside - grounds are very well kept surrounded by native tropical plants (and marsh rabits!). The condo is conveniently located within walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. Aside from the beach, we also enjoyed the nearby nature reserve and shell museum. And we rented a boat and headed up to Cayo Costa where we saw lots of wildlife (+manatees!!!!) and picked up beautiful shells. The owner, Cindy, was super helpful as was the property manager, Clyde, and both tended to all of our questions and needs. Great vacation and definitely would return!

Relaxation at its finest

This property provided the small beach town bliss in spades. Great views of the bay and a very short walk to the beach made it the perfect location. The entire property was excellently maintained! Would definitely stay again!

Excellent Condo Great Hosts

We had a wonderful week at Captiva Hide-A-Way. Hosts John and Cindy were a pleasure to work with and the property was clean, well-located, and very comfortable. We liked the small complex - the pool was never crowded despite 7 of the 8 units being occupied during our stay. On-site manager Clyde deserves a positive mention as well - he greeted us as we arrived and was available to iron our any little wrinkles that developed along the way (a kind way of saying he let us back in when we locked ourselves out)! We will look forward to a return visit sometime soon.

A little slice of paradise!

We have rented this property for years and simply adore it!!! We love that is on the intercostal side of Captiva for its sunrises and fishing. It’s walkable to everything. The on-site manager is wonderful and so are the unit owners! The unit is really well equipped and immaculate. I think this was our 5th year! Until next time!!!

Splendid!

My husband and I loved staying here for the week. Highlights included: - Very easy check in and great communication with Cindy and John - Incredibly clean property, I have stayed in many VRBOs and this was by far the cleanest and most comfortable. - Amazing views of the bay and loved eating outside on the balcony every morning. - Plenty of bath and pool towels and great to have a washer and dryer since we stayed for a week. - Loved the salt water swimming pool that was sooo warm and perfect for swimming in the afternoon. We were usually the only people there but made friends with the neighbors when they were around. I usually don’t swim in pools because I get too cold but this felt soo nice heated. - super close and walking proximity to restaurants, general store, beach and marina. We liked the bikes but barely needed them because everything was so close! - nice beach chairs and pool floats to use! Highly recommend this property and already looking to come back with my mom!

Great vacation condo!

This is a lovely condo. Hands down the best stocked ever! There was no shortage of dishes, pots and pans, glassware, etc., as well as beach towels, chairs. The kitchen is updated and has top notch appliances. We found it very comfortable with great views of the bay. We really had no issues other than the TV in the living room losing its signal several times a day. Often the wifi also had to be reset as well. The pool and grounds are well kept. Overall a very enjoyable stay. We were greeted by the property managers when we arrived and they were there to say good bye when we left. Enjoyed visiting with them. You can't go wrong with this rental.

Beautiful bayfront vacation

We had a fantastic week in this lovely, quiet bayside condo. This was our fourth trip to Captiva, but our first time staying on the bay and now it will be hard to stay anywhere else! The sunrise was gorgeous from both the comfort of the screened-in porch and the pier below. The unit was very clean, comfortable, and cozy with everything we needed: beach towels, a well-stocked kitchen, and washer/dryer. The building is in a perfect location--away from the busy main road but within easy walking distance to anywhere on the island. Unless you want to leave Captiva, you won't need to drive at all if you prefer not to. We loved sitting on the pier, watching the osprey, ibis, pelicans and dolphins. A bald eagle even flew past as we sat on the porch! We've stayed in many vacation rentals and this was easily one of our favorites. It was very hard to leave but we hope to stay again!

Beautiful spot

The condo was lovely with everything we needed. View of the water is spectacular and the pool is perfectly situated. Once you get to the island, you are walking distance to “town”. We saw pelicans, ibis, herons, manatees and dolphins. Weather was perfect. Owner was helpful and generous.

Wonderful Week

Our family of four had a great stay at this hidden away gem on Captiva. The listing was described well. The pool and view of the bay were both very nice and I will miss my afternoons on the screened in porch. Close to Andy Rosse lane and a short walk to the beach. We will look to return in the future.

Best Location on Captiva!

We have been going to Sanibel/Captiva for 4 years and the last two times we rented this condo and will be returning next year as well. The pictures are very accurate and the view is even more spectacular in person. The owners are so friendly and very easy to work with. The condo has everything you need for a fantastic vacation - bikes, beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, and plenty of beach & pool toys. Captiva is one of our favorite vacation spots and once you park your car you can walk or bike to everything - the condo is in the perfect location. There are only 8 units and the grounds are very well kept and beautiful and the property managers are very helpful and friendly. Can't say enough great things about this condo!

Great family vacation! Felt like a home.

We truly enjoyed staying here! The property was just as described. The layout was really perfect for the two bedrooms/two bathrooms. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the screened in porch for most of our time in the unit. We also really enjoyed walking to all the good places with live music and food along Andy Rosse Lane. The beach is a short walk as expected and very doable. The pool was a nice option for us and our two teenagers too. The unit feels very solid and high quality. One of my favorite things to do is flip through cookbooks, thank you for having those out for us to look at! The furnishings, appliances were all top notch (sub-zero refrigerator, Bosch dishwasher). The unit is so nicely decorated and homey touches everywhere you look. Thank you for everything!

We both worked in education as a teacher and a counselor. We are now retired and spend time here in Captiva and traveling.

Why they chose this property

We fell in love with Captiva while vacationing here about 30 years ago. We were looking for somewhere quiet, different from the east coast of Florida-no high rises or chain stores. We found it here. You don't have to get in a car all week if you don't want to. Everything you need is in easy walking distance. If you want activity-biking, kayaking, tennis, theater, restaurants, shopping it is here. If you want relaxation, shelling, sunsets, wildlife viewing, lounging and reading, you can have that too.
We have found this to be a very inviting, friendly island.

What makes this property unique

We especially love waking up to fantastic sunrises. Dolphin viewing is a daily activity. We appreciate being able to walk to everything we need including ferry rides to other islands. Island music at local restaurants is fun. A morning walk on the beach is a great way to get exercise and then returning for sunset is a wonderful way to end the day.
