Perched high on a peaceful La Jolla hillside, this family- and pet-friendly retreat offers unobstructed panoramic ocean views and golden sunset skies. Designed for seamless indoor/outdoor living, the home blends coastal style with upscale comfort, creating a perfect setting for your California beach escape.

Inside, the open-concept living area features a cozy fireplace, plush seating, and a large flatscreen TV — ideal for relaxing after a day at the beach. The fully equipped chef's kitchen flows into the dining area and opens onto a spacious deck where ocean vistas stretch endlessly before you.

The outdoor space is an entertainer's dream — grill up fresh seafood, gather around the fire pit, dine al fresco, or unwind in the bubbling hot tub while the sun melts into the Pacific. The primary suite is a private sanctuary with a king bed, ensuite bathroom, and its own deck with stunning views. Two guest bedrooms, each with a queen bed, share a full bath, and a sofa bed in the living area accommodates extra guests.

With central AC, garage parking, and all the beach gear you need, this home checks every box for a memorable La Jolla getaway.

Thanksgiving ‘24

We love the location and the property. The kitchen and living area are perfect for a family gather. My daughter and her husband live nearby so the location is great as we can see each other easily without driving.

Fantastic Place with a view

The house is big and roomy. The master bed was so comfortable. There’s a couple of things that need some touching up but the place was very nice and clean.

Bird Rock Stay

Great property in Bird Rock. Very quiet neighborhood close to a number of beaches. My wife and two two eenage daughters enjoyed the house - perfect for relaxing and rejuvenating before going back to high school, college and work. Would absolutely stay here again.

Great family vacation spot

We enjoyed staying at this property with our 18month old. Great communication with the property manager, when we checked in the hot tub was pretty dirty, but they were able to get some one out to get it cleaned by the next day.

Great location

This is near the cutest area in LaJolla called bird rock. It was a nice discovery after several trips to San Diego. It was close to everything we wanted to get to. The owner was super responsive when we had questions or needed anything.

Spring Break getaway

What a great house and location! Morning coffee on the deck and relaxing in the hot tub at night became our daily routine. Super clean and lovely amenities. Communication with the host was excellent. I would highly recommend!

Chosen family trip

Who wouldn’t love La Jolla? This home is a perfect retreat with a nicely equipped kitchen and lots of beach toys. The garage is a plus. We couldn’t get enough of the ocean views through the large windows. We are already planning our next trip.

Very nice house with great views

Very nice location with great views. The house was very clean. Austin or Oscar (not sure about the name) from the management company was great and went above and beyond to accommodate our family and answer any questions.

Great house in perfect location

We were in La Jolla for some R&R and exploration and this house was perfect. Everyone (my husband and myself and two kids, 17 and 15) had plenty of space and the deck and hot tub were a huge bonus. We could walk to everything in the cute Bird Rock area and the garage made it easy to drive and park whenever we wanted. The kitchen had all of the things you'd need for a dinner party or just take out and rose. Only positive things to say and we hope to be back!

Great trip to San Diego

Had a wonderful first trip to San Diego. This property is in a great spot to visit multiple locations around the greater San Diego area. The property is well kept, rooms were immaculate and well organized upon arrival. Everything was as described and we couldn’t have been happier. The kitchen and the rest of the house was well stocked with all the supplies we could possibly need. We had a couple of questions along the way and the rental team responded within minutes every time. The property was about a half mile walk into downtown which offered plenty of greats shops and a great view of the coast. Would definitely recommend to travelers.

Beautiful and Convenient

First and foremost, the house and view is beautiful. The La Jolla location makes it a convenient, central location to visit downtown SD, Coronado, La Jolla beaches, PB & Torrey Pines. The neighborhood is quiet and clean and having a driveway/garage to park in was nice. The inside of the home has been updated and had everything we needed. We used the sofa bed and left the bed out the entire time we were there and still had plenty of space to move around in the living area between the 5 of us. The bedrooms were clean and beds comfortable. The hot tub was relaxing and wonderful at the end of a long day of activities and the view of the ocean was amazing. The only issue we had was with the master bath. Every time we used the shower a horrible sewage smell came from the drain. By the end of the stay it was coming from the sink drain as well. We ended up switching to the secondary baths at the end of our stay. The house has a septic system, it seems it may need repairs. If owners fix that, everything would be perfect. I still give this house 5 stars, everything else was so great.

Great location & Clean!

Beautiful home, great location and very clean. We had issues with the internet getting spotty reception during our stay and the jack & jill shower/bath had an issue with the tub spout not closing all the way for shower use. The shower worked, it just sprayed out of the tub spout as well, causing low pressure from the shower head. We DID NOT contact the property manager about these two small items. If we spent more time in the home, we probably would have called and I'm sure they would've taken care of it quickly! We stayed for a week and we would absolutely stay at this location again. There was also a note on the A/C indicating that you CANNOT turn the air down below 72, or heat above 78. We live in a very warm state, regularly in the 90's and I can assure you when we turn down the A/C, it causes no issues. While I agree these are somewhat normal temperatures to reduce A/C costs, we enjoy sleeping cold as I know many others do. Had it not been mid 60's during our stay, I could see this being an issue if it was really warm out. I suggest putting some ceiling fans in the bedrooms and the living room. This would help a lot! The house and area was clean, quiet and the neighbors were all friendly as we were coming and going. It was a great rental home, aside from the aforementioned very minor issues. Thank you!

Great deck and ocean view

This house is very nice and the size great for our family of 5. It was very clean and all as pictured online. Two things would have made the stay perfect. 1. Have ceiling fans in the 3 bedrooms or fans in the closets of all bedrooms provided as it did get warm sleeping. One bedroom had a floor fan used the 1st night. We went and bought another fan for the master bedroom the next day and left it at the house since we couldn't fly home with it as it was warm and very uncomfortable sleeping the 1st night. Our sons didn't have a fan at all and didn't sleep well as it was warm. We kept the a/c at the 72 degrees which is the lowest it said to turn the thermostat down to. We did not open windows when the a/c was on as noted not to. We have some allergies in the family so did not want to sleep with the windows open all night and there was noise heard when we did try to open the windows instead of using the a/c. The small window in one bedroom did not open at all when we were going to try that one night in that room that didn't have any fan at all. We did not want to leave the big sliding window open all night so didn't try to open it when the small didn't open at all. 2. The master bath shower smelled like sewer/rotten eggs when you turned on the water and then smelled after showering in the bathroom when getting ready. We are guessing the drain may just need cleaned out in the shower for this smell. The jack and jill bathroom tub shower was good and the other water faucets didn't have this smell. Besides the warmth and master bath shower smell, the house was great. If it could just be a little cooler sleeping, it would be perfect.

Candlelight rental

My whole family loved this rental, the view on the deck alone will bring us back. Hot tub was used everyday, clean, great oven for cooking and comfy beds. This is a quiet spot but quick walk to beach, can't wait to come back.

Great home for quality family time.

Porch, fire pit, hot tub was so nice. Home is lovely- spacious kitchen, all necessities present upon arrival. Cleanliness was a 3; not as fresh and clean as advertised. No issues that needed to be addressed while we were there, so that was great! Wasn’t thrilled about the fact that we couldn’t check in early, even though when we drove by, no one was there cleaning or anything. Not sure why we couldn’t have checked in before 4. Overall- lovely home that helped make a wonderful trip with amazing family bonding time.
