Overview

About the property

Almost 3,000 square feet 'cabin', 4 Bedrooms, Loft, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

Located a stones throw from beautiful Lake Entiat, you will experience the awe dropping view of Turtle Rock upon your arrival. You might even be tempted to grab our kayaks or paddle boards and make your way to the uninhabited island across the river to get a closer view of the wildlife. You can start water sporting immediately with the on site boat launch. The 90 degree summer days warm the water and beg you to jump in. Of course there is always the Hot Tub perched on the waters edge to soak in as well. You can always lounge on the spacious deck to enjoy water sporting from afar if you'd rather.

As for inside the over 3,000 sq ft 'cabin', the main floor feathers a bedroom, bathroom with washer and dryer, fully furnished kitchen, dining room and a living room complete with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Perched proudly on the stone is Ricky, the resident moose.

Upstairs features another bedroom, bathroom, and loft with a bed. The loft overlooks the living room, and of course, Ricky.

Downstairs are two bedrooms (one which has another floor to ceiling stone fireplace),a bathroom and rec room complete with a ping pong table and dart board. If you happen to need refreshments, there is also a refrigerator. Lots of books and games are here as well.

Outdoor furniture and patios make outdoor enjoyment a must. If theres a need for more exercising however, Lincoln Rock is a mile away and has walking trails, tennis courts, basketball courts and soccer fields. If you'd rather boat than drive, a dock is available for short stays. Putt Putt golf is available at Desert Canyon (10 minutes away) as well as the best Clam Chowder you will ever have. A wonderful Water Slide will cool you down in Lake Chelan (30 minutes away) as well as great Putt Putt Golf. If you are feeling like a all day boating adventure, look into taking the Lady of the Lake and mosey up Lake Chelan to the quaint town of Stehekan. Once there, you can rent bikes, camp,or stay at the lodge. Whatever you decide, you MUST include a visit the local bakery. This is truly a trip to bring your camera!!

About Lynne Prince

We live in the Seattle area and have been married over 26 years with two grown sons. We purchased this property with extended family members so we could enjoy water sporting with the cousins, aunts, uncle, and grandparents. My brother liked it so well he retired and built a beautiful house next door. Our boys and many of their friends learned to waterski at our cabin and look forward to returning every summer for more. Its been a dream for us to be able to enjoy all the fun Wenatchee has to offer and keep in touch with the extended family as well.

Lynne Prince purchased this cabin in 2004

Why Lynne Prince chose Lake Entiat

We used to pull our ski boat over the pass and stay at the local State Parks. We have great memories of those days but love the fact that everything for our vacation is already there. The warm, calm waters of the Lake along with the beautiful weather has made this a vacation ritual every year. We also enjoy the winters with all the snow options as well.

What makes this cabin unique

A HUGE benefit to our property is the boat launch and ability to keep our boat in front so its accessible at a moments notice. We will get up in the morning, go for a ski, eat breakfast, go for a ski, hop in the hot tub, eat lunch then relax and watch all the other water sporters. We have had many a lazy day reading books and watching the boaters go by.

Fantastic!

  • 5 of 5

This was our second time staying at Moose Lodge and it is great. The owners are easy to work with and they are organized so the paperwork is stress free. The house is great and is stocked with everything you need in the kitchen, a great set of games both indoor and outdoor (corn hole, badminton, croquet, a pool table and ping pong table). Plus two kayaks and two paddle boards. They also have an assortment of life jackets, I do recommend bringing your own life jackets for kids as there are so many sizes depending on the age and weight of the kid. The main floor deck is a great spot to sit and watch the lake and take in the scenery. Additionally the views from the lawn of the night sky are pretty good for stargazing. Overall just a great place to spend a week relaxing and playing.

Fantastic vacation rental!

  • 5 of 5

Moose Lodge is clean & full of family-friendly amenities! We liked Lynne's hospitality so much, we stayed an extra day (which she accommodated by changing her scheduled plans). Having 3 floors to give each family some space was wonderful, & we enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub, & deck swing at night. Nothing has been overlooked at this cabin- bug zappers, shampoo & lotion, kids-room equipped with toys, games, & outdoor water equipment...and much more! Lots of warm details & thought put into making this feel like home. Thank you for a fabulous family vacation!

Wonderful home, wonderful location, excellent host

  • 5 of 5

Very warm, and spacious lodge on the calm of the Columbia river. Directly across from Turtle Island. Plenty of space both inside and out. A multitude of gathering areas inside and outside. Also, a wonderful climate control system.

Owner was proactive, responsive, warm and kind. Also, very clear how-to guide on the dining room table to cover all the FAQs.

Summer Vacation on the lake/river!!

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a great time staying at the Moose Lodge. We were a family 4yrs old to 70 yrs old. The owner was very helpful and the house has everything that you will need for a great family vacation!! Just hanging out with a lawn chair in the water and watching the kids kayak and paddle board was the best part! No one wanted to leave the house and we were sad to go.... Next time we are visiting family up north in WA we will definitely be staying at the Moose Lodge!

House had a great layout and giant game room with ping pong and pool table.

House was just the right distance from the city. a quick drive for food/drink run but far enough to be out of the city and enjoying the country lakeside wilderness. Each morning we saw deer and also caught some fish right in front of the house. (you have to cast far though, long rod/heavy tackle)

Quick easy drive to lake Chelan for winery visits and lunch/dinner and again easy access to Wenatchee for supplies.

Big Slice of Heaven

  • 5 of 5

We held our family reunion there last week. Lynn the owner was very accommodating, and made this reunion so easy for us. She sent our deposit back in 2 days! Moose lodge had Something for all 4 generations to love! The home is much larger than it appears and so nicely decorated, in every nook there is something adorable to admire. All the beds were very comfortable and the kitchen had everything needed. The 80 something's in our family loved sitting on one of the three furnished decks with morning coffee watching the butterflies in the lilac tree. It was very nice that they did not have to use the stairs to go from one level to another, the boat launch next to the house was a gentle slope they easily managed. Two of the bathrooms have large walk in showers that were appreciated. For the 50 something's we had brought our fishing boat and had fun bass fishing, and had a blast with the provided kayaks and floating on the lake with provided air mattresses. Next year we are bringing the jet skis! The 30 and 20 something's had a ping pong tournament in between enjoying the lake, playing the piano and singing for us, and of course watching football. The little ones were never bored, playing in the sand at the water's edge, rolling down the nicely landscaped yard, and all these "new to them" toys and games provided. Even the newest member of our family, 3 month old loved the loft bedroom for un-disturbed time with her mother and a quiet cool place to nap. And at the end of the day the little ones had no problem sleeping as they were exhausted, allowing the adults to enjoy the hot tub at the water's edge and watching the meteor showers in the sky. Life just doesn't get better than that!

Bridal Party Paradise

  • 5 of 5

This last weekend we had our wedding at Ohme Gardens and had the bridesmaids and their S.O.s stay at this house while the groomsmen stayed at a house down the river. The Moose Lodge had more than enough space for all 8 of is to get ready the day and enjoy ourselves leading up to the big day. Their beach is Sandy and easy to enjoy the water. We will never forget this place and thank you to the owners for making this endeavor so easy and enjoyable.

We love hopping on Hwy 2/97 and taking the scenic loop through Coulee City to the NE and around to Cresent Bar to the south. Lots of information stations are along the way to explain the many rock and canyon formations. Beautiful!!!!

Just finished is the walking/biking trail accessed at Lincoln Rock State Park. (which is about 1 mile from our house). The flat paved trail winds by the river approximately 7 miles to join the Wenatchee loop trail. This trail goes along the river on the East Wenatchee side, crosses over the Columbia River and back again on the Wenatchee side. All in all its about 20 miles.
