Overview

About the property

Almost 3,000 square feet 'cabin', 4 Bedrooms, Loft, 3 Baths, (Sleeps 10)

Located a stones throw from beautiful Lake Entiat, you will experience the awe dropping view of Turtle Rock upon your arrival. You might even be tempted to grab our kayaks or paddle boards and make your way to the uninhabited island across the river to get a closer view of the wildlife. You can start water sporting immediately with the on site boat launch. The 90 degree summer days warm the water and beg you to jump in. Of course there is always the Hot Tub perched on the waters edge to soak in as well. You can always lounge on the spacious deck to enjoy water sporting from afar if you'd rather.

As for inside the over 3,000 sq ft 'cabin', the main floor feathers a bedroom, bathroom with washer and dryer, fully furnished kitchen, dining room and a living room complete with a floor to ceiling stone fireplace. Perched proudly on the stone is Ricky, the resident moose.

Upstairs features another bedroom, bathroom, and loft with a bed. The loft overlooks the living room, and of course, Ricky.

Downstairs are two bedrooms (one which has another floor to ceiling stone fireplace),a bathroom and rec room complete with a ping pong table and dart board. If you happen to need refreshments, there is also a refrigerator. Lots of books and games are here as well.

Outdoor furniture and patios make outdoor enjoyment a must. If theres a need for more exercising however, Lincoln Rock is a mile away and has walking trails, tennis courts, basketball courts and soccer fields. If you'd rather boat than drive, a dock is available for short stays. Putt Putt golf is available at Desert Canyon (10 minutes away) as well as the best Clam Chowder you will ever have. A wonderful Water Slide will cool you down in Lake Chelan (30 minutes away) as well as great Putt Putt Golf. If you are feeling like a all day boating adventure, look into taking the Lady of the Lake and mosey up Lake Chelan to the quaint town of Stehekan. Once there, you can rent bikes, camp,or stay at the lodge. Whatever you decide, you MUST include a visit the local bakery. This is truly a trip to bring your camera!!

About Lynne Prince

We live in the Seattle area and have been married over 26 years with two grown sons. We purchased this property with extended family members so we could enjoy water sporting with the cousins, aunts, uncle, and grandparents. My brother liked it so well he retired and built a beautiful house next door. Our boys and many of their friends learned to waterski at our cabin and look forward to returning every summer for more. Its been a dream for us to be able to enjoy all the fun Wenatchee has to offer and keep in touch with the extended family as well.

Lynne Prince purchased this cabin in 2004

Why Lynne Prince chose East Wenatchee

We used to pull our ski boat over the pass and stay at the local State Parks. We have great memories of those days but love the fact that everything for our vacation is already there. The warm, calm waters of the Lake along with the beautiful weather has made this a vacation ritual every year. We also enjoy the winters with all the snow options as well.

What makes this cabin unique

A HUGE benefit to our property is the boat launch and ability to keep our boat in front so its accessible at a moments notice. We will get up in the morning, go for a ski, eat breakfast, go for a ski, hop in the hot tub, eat lunch then relax and watch all the other water sporters. We have had many a lazy day reading books and watching the boaters go by.

Best Ever!

The owners were terrific to work with in renting their home. They thought of everything from kayaks and paddle boards to quality bedding and pillows. The low bank waterfront was an added bonus.

Great place to stay! Activities for everyone and great accommodations

  • 5 of 5

Being on the lake with all the water activities and on our own boat ramp was amazing! We enjoyed skiing, paddling, swimming, and ping pong, too! The layout of the house made it comfortable for our group of 10 and they had everything we needed to stay there without much effort.

Beautiful with lots to do!

  • 5 of 5

We had a fantastic stay at Moose Lodge. It was big and comfortable and Lynn was very responsive to our needs. The decks, yard and view are gorgeous. We boated, kayaked and paddle boarded on the beautiful Columbia River. It was a fun vacation and we look forward to the next time we can visit!

Awesome place to stay!

  • 5 of 5

First off, Lynne is a pleasure to work with. Our reservation went smoothly and Lynne's communication was terrific. Moose Lodge was our slice of heaven for 4 days. The cottonwood was flying and the sun was shining. This was perfect place to celebrate our oldest grandchild graduating from high school. He was given the master suite downstairs and he thought he was a king. The memories that were made will last a lifetime, thank you again for sharing your home. Moose Lodge is big enough for 3 families to have their own space and not feel cramped. All around wonderful, you will not be disappointed.

We love hopping on Hwy 2/97 and taking the scenic loop through Coulee City to the NE and around to Cresent Bar to the south. Lots of information stations are along the way to explain the many rock and canyon formations. Beautiful!!!!

Just finished is the walking/biking trail accessed at Lincoln Rock State Park. (which is about 1 mile from our house). The flat paved trail winds by the river approximately 7 miles to join the Wenatchee loop trail. This trail goes along the river on the East Wenatchee side, crosses over the Columbia River and back again on the Wenatchee side. All in all its about 20 miles.
