  • Nice cabin in a beautiful location

"The view of the mountains and lake was wonderful. The cabin has great views from the windows and a great deck to enjoy the weather and scenery. The area was very quiet when we stayed and we appreciated it. The cabin was very clean and mostly well equipped. I did not give it 5 stars because other than the sliding doors to the deck NONE of the windows open and the bedrooms were extremely stuffy at night. The sliding doors had no screen so unless we wanted a house full of bugs and flies we could not enjoy any fresh air flow during the day or at night. It made it very difficult to sleep. A house in the summer needs air flow. Air conditioning and fans are just not the same. We managed to have a very nice time despite our lack of rest."

  • Lovely location with a nice yard and lots of living space for a large family gathering.

"We enjoyed our stay at the lake view property. We had all our kids and grandkids in one home with plenty of elbow room. The house layout is spacious so we didn't feel cramped at all. Many evening we were playing yard games until it got dark. It felt very private and secluded as well. There were only two problems: 1) the towels were all in the dirty laundry, so we spent the first evening washing towels ( the bedding hadn't been washed either and one bed was unmade) 2) the air conditioning went out on the last night and the weather was in the high 90s so it was pretty uncomfortable that last night. We enjoyed the deer that came right up to the house to graze and our sons saw deer and coyote on their early morning runs. The local winery's were a hit with the family. If the housekeeping was improved we would recommend this house to any large family as we were pretty close to the state park where we swam and launched our boat."

  • Great view/plenty of room

"This condo has a wonderful lay out and is perfect for a family. Plenty of room for everyone. The view is amazing anytime of day. It is an end unit so you don't have to worry about anyone on the other side of you. The location is good within minutes of driving to everything. You could walk but the road going to and from the condo is pretty steep, easy to go down but not fun walking up especially in the heat. I would recommend it to anyone. The owner was great to work with, very friendly in all correspondence. I'd give this a 4 1/2 star if I could because the only things wrong with it were very minor."

  • Gorgeous home and view!

"Beautiful home with amazing view. So peaceful just being there. Nice that there is a lot do at Wapato Point. Judy had kids' pool inflatables for us to use and even a few putters for us to go play mini golf. She was very sweet to put out a big pack of bubble blowers and leave a few bottles of wine for the grown ups. Cons: The heating system not going to the temperature we had ended up being a colder week in June which is rare so we needed heat. The temperature kept going a few degrees higher and would not adjust to the temperature we set. Also, all the vents in the basement were closed when we first got there and we finally figured this out when we could not get the basement to warm up. Like that there were plenty of linens and towels and that the place was very clean. Great location across from pool. Would love to come back in the future!"
