The property and the hospitality was far above and beyond anything I have ever experienced or imagined, from the craftsmanship of the home to the expansive property I was speechless..the stay was so amazing that I never got on my flight home and decided to move to alaska, thank you catkin for and amazing experience and your truly alaskan hospitality
Great house and even greater surrounding property to explore! We arrived to welcoming sandhill cranes on the lawn (they were so close we thought they were lawn ornaments!) Catkin was an excellent hostess and available for any questions. We enjoyed learning the homestead. We were lucky to see moose on the property (2 young ones with their mom one night!) The house conveniently located to Homer, where we spent a few fun days. And the views from the house were spectacular!

It was great meeting you! Those sandhill cranes have really attached themselves to the lawn this year amd its been fun to watch them along with the generations of Moose. Hope to see you again in the future!
We loved every bit of our stay, Catkin was amazing, the views were breathtaking and the serenity unmatched! My only qualm was that we didn’t stay longer!!
The homestead is breathtaking! The views from every window and every deck are absolutely gorgeous. The house had everything we needed and more. Perfect vacation!
We had a lovely stay here. We felt very welcomed by our host, Catkin, and all fell in love with the gorgeous views and the expansive property. The master bedroom is amazing and our kids loved having their own little space downstairs. The kitchen was well-supplied and it had a great living room where all 8 of us were able to relax and enjoy our time together.
Beautiful home on a beautiful property.
The views are fabulous, we saw a Moose everyday. Comfortable beds, a very nice kitchen, all in all a perfect place to stay!
The property and scenery are outstanding. Clean, comfortable, and convenient to Homer summarize this property.

It's my pleasure to share our home with guests. I am particularly proud of the craftsmanship that Atz put onto the structure and design -- and he picked the perfect spot for a gorgeous view!
We loved our stay at Eagles rest! We've stayed with Catkin before and always enjoy our time. The home is beautiful & the view is amazing. We saw moose in our backyard & sandhill cranes in the front yard. This is our favorite place to stay in Alaska & we will be back again! Highly recommend!
The property was in a great location and was large enough for our entire group. Catkin was a wonderful host and answered all of our questions and had great suggestions.
