New stainless-steel appliances. Soaking tub in master bath; brand new hot tub on back porch over-looking the lake. Two gas fireplaces--one in living room and one in master bedroom. Black-out Roman Shades and California King beds in all three bedrooms. Plenty of closet space; pantry; laundry facilities with laundry tub; study with printer; high speed wi-fi; 12' ceilings; heated floors with individual controls in every room and re-circulating, instant hot water makes this house a joy. Wonderful recreational opportunities surround the house--ATVing; hiking, swimming, boating and fishing in the summer; snowmobiling, snowshoeing, cross-country skiing and alpine skiing in the winter. Enjoy the change of seasons in the fall with the outstanding colors of the aspen trees and first snows on the mountain tops. 25 miles from world class skiing at Steamboat Ski Resort. Glorious lake & Mountain Views

The views at Karen & Eddie’s home are astounding!! Sunsets galore. Extremely clean and well kept home and 5 acre property. High end finishes and furniture abound. The kitchen is stocked beyond measure. Gas grill. Decks in front and back. Hot tub with mountain lake & sunset views. Karen and Eddy take impeccable care of their home and made sure that we were happy with our stay.and had all that we needed. They even came and mowed several times during our stay. If you are thinking of staying here for a month or more, do not hesitate!!

After finishing our demanding careers, we built our dream home in the beautiful Rocky Mountains and decided that we wanted to travel on our RV for a few years before living full-time at our beautiful home. In the meantime, we are happy to share it with you!

Why they chose this property

Wonderful, open lay-out, well-built home on a bluff over-looking beautiful Steamboat Lake. Two steps from the garage to the mud room; two steps up to the front door. Easy access to the house from either the front door or the garage. Mud room has benches and hooks for out-door gear; laundry facilities are right next to the mud room and the foyer has a long, home-made bench for taking on/off shoes. High end lighting: oil rubbed bronze fixtures and great walk-in showers in two bathrooms. In floor heating and instant hot water makes all the difference in the world!

What makes this property unique

At 8,200 foot elevation, this house is the perfect place to enjoy high altitude living in the summer: low humidity; average temperatures in the summer ranging in the 70's-80's; fun thunderstorms raging across the mountains and lake; wild-life, and easy access to the mountains for hiking, biking, horseback riding, fishing, boating, and ATVing. In the winter the high altitude provides an ever-changing scenery of snow-covered trees with all the winter activities within easy access: snowmobiling, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.
Single level home with crawl space. Everything is easy and very accessible. New design and high-end features everywhere. In-floor heating with individual controls in each room; re-circulating hot water system allowing for instant hot water. The perfect sized home for 4-6 people.
