Homesteader features a wood-burning fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, satellite TV, and WiFi. Homesteader sleeps up to six individuals. The master bedroom has a Queen bed. The second bedroom contains bunk beds with a single bed and a trundle under the bottom bunk. The unit also has a sleeper sofa in the living room This cabin is pet-friendly and accepts dogs.

Lovely Family Getaway

Wonderful stay!

We had a great time! We spent the weekend here while we skied steamboat and did some cross country skiing as well. We were really bummed that the hot tub was not functional, but we know stuff like that happens. The restaurant smelled great! We didn’t eat there because there weren’t any vegetarian/vegan options, so word to the wise there too!

Great trip

I thought it was a great place to stay with the family. I think it might be better in the summer, we were expecting the pool or at least the hot tub to be open. It would be nice to have a heads up on the pet policy in the listing. We weren’t aware there is a fee when u get there and only one pet. Overall the actual cabin was excellent.

Our Stay

Very nice unit. The only downside was that the road to our unit was not plowed and very difficult to get to when we arrived around 4pm. The parking spot and sidewalk was not shoveled and there was no shovel at the unit. After they plowed later that evening the road did improve.

Each place has their own setting as far as sleeping arrangements and so on. The Homesteader is nice.

The three beds in the second bedroom give us plenty of space for our family of 5. The kitchen is well stocked. Our 7 year old son caught good sized trout in Steamboat and Hahn's Peak lake. Will come back here again.
