Fireside - Quaint cabin near hiking and fishing

Fireside is family friendly with a comfy king bed in the master bedroom and two twins with a bunked double bed in the second bedroom. With children this provides sleeping for up to 6. Two full bathrooms provide plenty of availability. Fireside also has a door closing off the second bedroom hallway to provide a second private ensuite if desired. The decor reflects our love of horses and welcomes you to the Old West ambiance. Fireside sits at a more private end of the resort away from traffic noise. In addition, a trail down the embankment to the river provides secluded access to the beauty of the Elk River. Bring your lawn chairs and fish or just enjoy the peace and privacy.

Dogs are welcome in this cabin!

Great spot by the river

This was a great cabin by the river. Very peaceful about 30 minutes from town. Disappointed that the tennis courts didn’t have nets but Other than that, great spot! Would be great for a reunion if you booked a few cabins.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in two different cabins, fireside and Grizzly. Both were very clean. The kitchens were well equipped, especially Fireside. Hearing the battle of the river was a plus as was having two bathrooms in each cabin. The staff went out of their way to help our disabled brother get to and from the pool.

Great late summer getaway

My husband and I stayed at Glen Eden over a long weekend. Our cabin was part of a duplex and was very nice and very clean. Had all amenities as advertised and outstanding views from the back to the Elk River and mountains beyond. Generally very quiet. This place is a great getaway in beautiful surroundings. Highly recommend.

We were there from Wednesday through Saturday and the cabins on both sides of ours were empty during our stay. It felt like we had the place to ourselves. We went paddle boarding at Pearl lake all three days. That was also beautiful. We cooked all of our meals in the cabin and the kitchen had more than enough supplies.We spent most of our time on the patio watching the river and listening to the birds. I would definitely recommend to friends.

Amazing cabin!

Our crew consisted of 4 people and our stay was very comfortable. We came here for a snowboarding trip. It was a quick ride to Steamboat and so many other things to do around the area. As soon as we got the stay, we felt immediately right at home and settled in nicely. I wish we had more time to just lounge in the cabin since it was so cozy. The river and mountains right in the back made me feel like i was in an old frontier movie. Two of my friends are actually avid fishermen and they kept saying how they wish they had more time to flyfish. The cabin was very clean and the design inside was just perfect. I wanted to live there!

Great Place for a Family Vacation

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our cabin at Glen Eden was on the beautiful Elk River. The view was amazing and the the sound of the flowing river soothed us by day and night. We enjoyed our time in the peaceful cabin but also took advantage of the pool, hot tub, horseshoes, fishing, and an evening campfire. The staff brought firewood and water buckets to the campfire site ahead of time which we really appreciated. We also enjoyed a meal at the restaurant - the food was wonderful!Our children and grandchildren who stayed in another cabin loved the feeling of safety that they had everywhere on the property, especially running between their cabin and ours. Our daughter in law has requested that this be the location of our family vacations for years to come. That means we will definitely be returning!

The towels are very nice and fluffy, the beda are comfortable. I loved that there is a loop that I could walk repeatedly to get my daily walk in. However we didn't feel the kitchen was very clean and the couch in the living room is very worn out and dirty.
