Big Horn sits on the Elk River and has a spectacular view of Mt. Zirkel while seated at the dining area table. Big Horn features an easy-to-use gas fireplace and a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, fridge, satellite smart 42" TV, and WIFI. Big Horn easily sleeps up to six individuals. The master bedroom has a new King bed and an upgraded private bath. The second bedroom has a new bunk bed with a queen bottom and a twin up top and an adjacent upgraded full bath. Additional adults can be accommodated on the queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Big Horn is dog-friendly, so bring the whole family!

Fabulous 2 night stay at Glen Eden

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We rented 2 separate cabins for 2 nights. It was a very good experience from reservations to check out. Cabins looked as if recently updated and pleasantly furnished. The views were spectacular looking out on the river. There were plenty of activities on site-swimming pool, playground, tennis, volleyball , basketball.

Glen Eden Resort Is Great, Big Horn (and some others) Need Work

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I know the owners are finally updating and we that is great. The window coverings are not that hard to update (blinds are cheap and easy to install) and should have been done before our stay. They were not. Plates and glasses are easy to purchase, they were not. They were terrible (the kind you give away after a garage sale). But thank you for starting to update.

Reviewer Comments: I love Glen Eden and will return, but not to this unit until it improves greatly. Furniture is too big and bulky, old carpet, dishes, silverware, and glassware terrible. Like from a garage sale that didn't sell. The fan and light in the bath went out. Had only the shower light to see by. I've stayed in many units and I will say there are nice ones but owners of some need to update.

Great escape

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a family of 30 stay in several cottages. All were very nice. I stayed at the Hiker which has a lot of sleeping options. It was well appointed. We were a little sad that the restaurant and bar have closed down and it is quite a trek to Steamboat Springs. We enjoyed a day at the state park on a beautiful Lake, we hiked, we tubed in Steamboat and went to the hot springs and alpine slide. Lots to do. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and playground. The flowers were beautiful and well maintained.
