We planned a weekend near Tampa for a concert .. let me just say we really enjoyed this home it was comfy and cozy we never had any issues. We enjoyed the pool area and all the amenities the home had to offer. Pool towels, washer, dryer etc. It was in a great location we were near everything-restaurants-stores. We even made a beach trip that was only an hour away at Fort De Soto... the only thing I can really complain about were the mosquitos, no enclosure on the outside and no shade awning like pictured I'm guessing due to weather /hurricanes. But, other than that we would definitely like to return some day , my family enjoyed it.

The host was very responsive. The back yard has a great space to hang out and relax. The kitchen had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable.

Great Spot!

Newly renovated, clean, comfortable. Only stayed a couple days but host was very accomodating for a late check out. Pool was clean, enjoyed this property very much. Would stay again.

Great getaway

Property was beautiful ! So happy with our stay . Very beautiful, spacious modern home . The house was very clean and conveniently located just a short drive to pharmacy , restaurants. We will be back for sure !

Great rental and location

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is in a quiet neighborhood but convenient to grocery stores and food options. The house was clean and the pool is amazing. This was a great location for our visit to Tampa because it’s a few minutes from highway without being in the congestion of Tampa metro. The host was also very responsive. We would definitely stay again if we travel back to the area.

Host was quick to respond. Clean. Beds were comfortable. TVs were easy to use. WiFi was easy to access. They had a Bluetooth speaker on the patio that was a nice touch. Very relaxing. Very chill. Easy access to Hard Rock Casino. Tons of food options.

Would book again!

We had a really good time at Mindelo Oasis. There were some small issues at the beginning which where immediately tended to by our host. He was very nice, and engaged that we could enjoy our stay. The kids loved the pool and we had everything at hand that we needed. We would definitely stay here again!

Comfy and welcoming

We felt very safe & comfortable in this home. Beds were comfortable and house was clean. Perfect place to unwind after a day at the park, short drive to Busch gardens. Too cold to swim in great pool in back or to even sit outside, but this was unusually cold and windy for Florida this time of year. Would definitely stay here again!

Awesome experience!

Property was very clean with awesome amenities to keep you occupied, especially if you have kids! Jason was very fast with message response and was able to answer any questions we had fast and was very helpful! Highly recommend this property if your staying in the Brandon area!

Overall good stay

Overall good stay. couldn't use outside pool as water wasn't clean and gazebo was broken due to recent storm. inside was neat and clean. Host was quick in response. I would recommend to friends to consider for future stay.

Great stay close to Tampa

The house was perfect for our family of all ages with the larger group. The pool table provided some things to do in our down time. While the pool was a bit too cold to use with the unexpected colder weather the weekend we were there, we look forward to hopefully using it when we return to the area. Overall, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. The location was ideal to get to the main areas quickly, and located near many restaurants and places to shop.

Sufficient for our needs

Property was overall okay, refrigeraator couldn't keep things very cold and air conditioner had a hard time keeping the place cool during the day. The communication was excellent & professional. The pool was wonderful and the property supplied plenty of towels.

The good: spacious house, nice enough neighborhood and area, house is stocked with a lot of kitchen stuff and other things you might need, the host was nice enough to give me early check in, and there was no crazy checkout process. The not so good: the host really needs to go through and walk the property, it’s pretty beat up, there was broken furniture, and everything just felt worn out. The pictures are not up to date, there was no pergola in the back when we were there in April 2026, the patio is no longer screened in. The pool was cold and pretty green. We saw a large bug in the kitchen, and outside in the patio area there was wasps living in the ceiling. Over all it was fine for our stay, but unsure if I’d recommend it.

So things didn’t go exactly as planned! There were a couple of issues, I had booked this, especially for the pool and the pool was out of commission and I had no notification of that prior to our arrival. A couple of other occurrences happened, but the host was super Duper responsive, and very pleasant, and had things taken care of as fast as he could possibly go, especially with it being a weekend. The house is clean, spacious and in a decent neighborhood. In spite of some unforeseen circumstances, we had a great time. I appreciate the host and I would consider going back for another stay!!

4 walls and beds

1st time ever using a Vrbo, was a cheaply flipped house. Heat does not work. Hot water lasts long enough for 1 three minute shower. Dishwasher does not work. Overall, was acceptable for us to use as a place to sleep at night, with extra clothes and blankets being used. House was 50 degrees at night.

Would go back there again

All very nice but note in dishwasher not to use. When i used the garbage disposal i see why: it backs up in dishwasher. Pool cues for pool table were very warped i guess in the heat. 1 smoke detector beeping in a drawer note on it said taken down needs new battery. Otherwise very nice and enjoyed it alot. I would go back!

The rental had not been cleaned before check-in, the owner quickly sent the cleaner however we had to awkwardly wait for them to be done before we could relax. The pictures of the backyard were not an accurate representation (no canopy, no screened in lanai). Other downsides: There were no lounge chairs to use by the pool. The BBQ would only light on one side. The window shades in the primary bedroom are broken, several slats were broke off and there was not privacy from looking into the window from outside. It felt like being in a bachelor pad with worn out furniture, run down fixtures in the bathrooms, old miss matched towels and nothing that would make the place welcoming or inviting. We were promised a refund from the owner when we voiced only some of those concerns. 2 weeks later, still no refund. We paid for 2 nights but left after the first night because the neighbor across the street started blasting music excessively loud at 6:30AM for about 2 hours.

This house is very homey! The house had a good flow, and we had lots of space. The pool & yard were so comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked.

For the most part, everything that was shown in the pictures is what we got. Communication with the owner was very good. And why I say for the most part for everything that was shown we got there was no shampoo which was listed. There was no shampoo in the bathrooms, but after speaking with the owner, he was very helpful and had some delivered. Also, we had issue with the pool when we first arrived. It was cloudy and dirty, but after speaking with the owner, he had somebody out the next morning and had it cleaned.
