The place was clean with the exception of the kitchen table. There was some crumbs on the table, but other than that very clean. There were enough towels for us all. I enjoyed my stay there. We literally only slept there and had to leave right away because we had other plans. I would definitely stay there again.

This property is absolutely beautiful and so well appointed. The beds are SUPER COMFY with soft sheets. The bath towels are wonderful! IThe location is perfect for downtown visits. There were 3 of us, each had our own bedroom/bathroom but 6 would also be very comfortable. Spacious, screened porch adds more living space. There are 2 sets of stairs to the unit from the parking lot but there is also a concrete path from the other end of the building for those with mobility issues. Also a staircase in the unit to the 2 upper bedrooms just as an FYI. We cant wait to stay here again. James is an excellent host.

The shower curtain liner in our bathroom had mold on it and needed to be changed and the tub faucet was loose and hanging. The curtain rod in the living room was broken and hanging making it difficult to close the curtains.

The outside steps up to the rental was a little rough for 3 80-82 year old ladies. But we enjoyed our stay. Clean, easy to contact owner, no problems other than steep steps to the door.

The location was absolute perfection. It is in the middle of everything and if you wanted, you could walk to almost every place you would want to go. Parking on Main Street in Helen is extremely easy. The only thing I wish I would’ve known prior to staying there was the many stairs you will have to climb in order to get to the front door. You can take a very long, steep ramp if stairs are not your thing, but when lugging suitcases and two children, the staircase that leads to the landing to get to the front door is not your friend. You can tell that the house needs some minor repairs, but that also tells you that it gets used a lot. It is nothing that prohibits a comfortable safe stay so it did not effect my rating of this place.
