I am sorry that you had such a terrible stay. I, nor the 100’s of other guests who have stayed at this home do not agree with your assessment. A couple of your points do have validity. I have had all of the non-working bedroom and bathroom door locks replaced since your stay. Guests who stayed before you locked themselves out of a couple rooms and broke the locks. My sincerest apologies about that. The bathroom connected to the child’s bunk room does have a door to the bathroom. I’m not sure how you missed it or are intentionally providing false information. The light switch in that bathroom is to the bottom right of the sink. The switch you thought was for the light was to heat the floor. We were unable to locate any nail sticking out of a wall and are unsure what you’re referring to. How did the closet door violently rip off? We noticed that it was removed and I had maintenance reattach it. I have no idea how a mouse got into the house. Perhaps a sliding door was left open by one of your children? We have a pest control company come every week to service the house. I paid housekeeping $750 to deep clean the home after your stay and remove cobwebs. While this is a relatively newer listing, this same home has a 4.84 rating over 110 reviews on a competitors website. I’m unsure if your intent was to file a dispute with your bank and pay nothing for your stay prior to arriving, however your critique that the house “is falling apart”, “has serious sanitation and safety issues”, “the property is a dump” and “is literally falling apart”, is not in line with 99% of our 100 guest reviews, many of whom have indicated this is the best home they’ve ever stayed. I hope you have a better stay on your next vacation.
