We loved our stay! Paul was super helpful and kind. We had our service dog and he was very accommodating. I did not read the listing fully and later realized the pool was an additional cost but 10/10 worth the cost regardless. The neighborhood is adorable and the homes are amazing.

Beautiful well maintained property. For the price, the pool should have been included in the rental. It needs more over door hooks for women's dresses. It needs at least one box of tissues.

The Suite is in a nice neighbourhood with some very high end homes close by. It is just a small suite for two but it was very nice and vintage decor was beautifull.

Everything was clean and well kept. The house is 130 years old and in great overall condition. As expected with any 100 year old house there were a few spots that showed its age but nothing that bothered us. Would recommend if you want to step back in time and stay in a historic house.

Beautiful Historical Home

We loved this home. It felt very comfortable. It’s decorated so beautifully. The gentlemen Jim who assisted us was such a great person. He was very funny and personable. He made us feel safe. We would love to stay again in future visits.

Perfection

My girlfriend and I stayed here for Valentine’s Day. She was almost moved to tears by the beauty of the house and room. She’s always wanted to stay in one of these houses in Galveston and I couldn’t have chosen a better one. The host Paul was quick to reply to messages and Jimmy was the coolest guy and was even decorating for Mardi Gras when we arrived. Everything is very close but the location and home make you want to just stay put. We will be back as soon as possible!

良かった点 : 清潔度、コミュニケーション
The host did allow us to check in a few minutes early due to an event we needed to get to. We never received any email as we were told to instruct us on checkin and access. Luckily we had already been in contact with the host who informed us that we had to meet him at the property in person to get in. Upon arrival teh host walked through the space to give us a tour and then he went upstairs. It was our understanding that we had the entire house to ourselves. upon entering the house it smelled like weed. The pool was nice but was very difficult to get to walking around teh outside of teh house to teh backyard through a very dimly lit rocky path past rawed iron gates and fences to the back of the house. The night we stayed we used the pool and walking back around teh house I fell over a step since it was not lit up at all and bashed my head into the iron fence. Their were either other guests or the host in other areas of the house with children that were very loud around 7am the next morning. Not ideal on a Saturday when we were just up late the night before. $300 for 1 night in a small bedroom bathroom suite seems very expensive but it was july3-4 so holidays are pricey. The room was clean, the locationo was great.

Experience Mansion Life

This property is gorgeous! We love the 19th-century Victorian style, and the Sealy Suite does not disappoint. The gardens surround the property and are lush and beautiful; even the pool in the back felt like a private lagoon. One evening, there was a rainstorm, so we sat on the front porch to enjoy the sea breeze, the smell of gardenias, and the sound of raindrops on the roof. We were so relaxed that we didn't want to leave. Sitting on the porch was interesting, showing what living there would have been like. Street tours came by, looking at the house and the neighborhoodThe Sealy Suite itself was comfortable, exquisite, and had positive energy. We slept very well once we got used to the old four-poster bed. The bed or the floor was tilted just a bit so our heads were a little lower than the rest of our bodies, but the abundance of pillows helped with that. The mattress was soft.

Home was whimsically beautiful, a lot to look at and wonderful for pictures. The home and location was very peaceful and quiet. The pool area was something to see, we did not swim but it looked tranquil. The host was so nice. He even got us a fan to use (for the white noise). AC worked great and had everything we needed. Even a step stool to get on the bed.
