Thank you Joe for the positive review. It's always a thrill to catch a pod of whale passing by, I love the sea lions too, especially when they are being playful in the waves. The marine & wildlife are so entertaining and it seems they put on a show for you! :)

Sie, I am so happy that you had an excellent time with your family at Grandma's Beach Cottage. I never tire of that view, it is constantly changing. The tides bring in treasures & logs for fort building, then wash them out to start all over again the next day. Passing whale spouts, sea birds cruising by, seals & sea lions bobbing in the waves, fishing boats that dot the seas at night, the fog rolls in and out, the tide pools at low tide and those spectacular sunsets. It is truly nature at her finest!

Hi David, I am glad that you were able to find some peaceful relaxation. I find it a hard location to beat for the scenery, solitude and rejuvenation, not to mention a spectacular beach that goes for miles.
