The Space:

Located right at the tip of a lazy village hamlet, this is a unique place full of pure magic. A historic beach house with recent renovations, it offers incredible panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, the majestic mountains, and the crashing beach. Sit back and enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Be sure to use the binoculars and telescope in the living room!



In addition, multiple restaurants (2-Star Michelin), cafés, a local art gallery, a history museum, groceries, and curiosity shops make this a friendly place to slow down and wander. Located in a prime coastal location, it's a mere 20 minutes from Mendocino and California wine country.



And, if you love to cook, the kitchen is a dream come true, with incredible views, stainless steel appliances, and long marble countertops. Then, snuggled in front of a cozy fireplace or whale-watching out on the large, open deck; you may just want to call this your home forever.



Modern and extremely comfortable, the ranch's three bedrooms are equally inviting, with ample natural lighting, soft linens, art, and tasteful decorations. Three full, modern baths are always a plus, too.

We enjoyed our stay at this beautiful, very spacious property. It was easy to locate and well stocked. The host was quick to respond to questions and even left cookies and a birthday card for our group. The queen bedroom on the main floor and the king room on the lower level both have their own well-stocked bathroom. The king room also has a full laundry room. The third bedroom is on the main floor near the entry with the third bathroom at the opposite end of the kitchen on the main floor. The kitchen was well stocked and very clean, all the appliances seemed new and worked very well. The host also has included a very large CD selection and quite a few games to enjoy. The view from all the windows was spectacular. Overall it is a very peaceful home and we will definitely be returning to enjoy it again.

We love this place! It is beautiful and works for our family. We will continue to come. We didn’t have a recycle bin for our trash. That left us leaving bags outside. Also the trash bin is small and also left us leaving trash outside the door. Felt uncomfortable to say the least.

I absolutely love this place. We come here every year. But more than one car is not comfortable. I don’t mind because most the time it’s just my husband son and myself. Other than that it is fabulous.

Beautiful place, wonderful location, views are incredible. Home was clean and modern with nicely done instructions for lights, etc.Easy access to the beach, quick drive to Mendocino. Great little grocery store across the street for essentials, sandwiches, wine, beer, and food basic. Quiet town, great place to chill. Be prepared to make dinner on Tuesdays and Wednesdays since there is little to no restaurant options in Elk on those days.
