The day after we arrived, the host literally forced us to leave the apartment because a burst pipe was causing dampness in the apartments below. Initially, the host told us to leave and find somewhere else. We asked for help, but after some insistence, he sent us to a house that was nothing like the one we had rented—filthy, with the beds unmade by the previous tenant, and dark. The living room window couldn't be blocked, which was dangerous because there were three small children who could fall into the lagoon 10 feet away. Due to the inconvenience and the downgrade from what we rented and paid for, I request compensation because we paid for a different quality of service.

Hi Juan, We are very sorry that the circumstances forced a change from the condo you booked. We did offer you 2 units right from the time we advised you that you had to move from that unit to another one. We offered the only units we had available for your dates. After many messages your daughter-in-law did chose one, which we prepared for you immediately. Had you notified us that you were not happy with the clean we would have sent our cleaners over to correct the issue. I am not sure what you mean by window could not be blocked. The slider in the living room has a lock and goes out to a screened porch and door to outside also locks. At the time of the changing of units, you were notified that you would receive a refund due to the price difference between the two condos. That refund was processed today. We hope you will consider booking with us in the future so you can experience a typical enjoyable visit. Regards, Water Pointe Realty
