Cute 2br apartment in charming Alameda Victorian. Close to Park St.

Bright and well appointed 2BR apartment (1200 sq ft) in garden level of a charming 1890s Victorian. First bedroom has a queen bed. The other (larger) bedroom contains a twin which converts into a king bed as well as a sofa. Extra mattress can also be placed on the floor to create a 2 twin bed room. (See photos for configuration options) Living room contains a large sofa and room for a queen air mattress (provided upon request) for additional sleeping options.

Great East End Alameda location - quiet and residential, but just a few blocks to Park St and 1/2 mile to the beach and South Shore center. Chochenyo Park is two blocks away. The AC transit O/OX bus stops 1 block away and takes you directly into Downtown SF (Salesforce Transit center). Downtown Oakland is just a few miles away and also easily accessible. Oakland Airport is just 10 minutes away by car.

Please note that we live in the main house directly above the apartment and have two small children. Therefore, we have to ask our guests to respect quiet hours after 8PM.

I had two immediate thoughts when entering the cute apartment. “It’s much bigger than I expected and I can be comfortable here”. The hosts provided all we needed for our long weekend stay. The location was quiet and convenient for what we wanted to see and is within walking distance of the water with its bird sanctuary and views of San Francisco. The other positive reviews are true. We hope to return.

Our stay was great! Check in was easy, comminication was good and the apartment was well located, walkable to Park St with lots of restaurants & coffee shops. Even though Broadway is a big street, it was quiet and easy to find street parking. The apartment was spacious, had everything we needed, including a travel crib for our littler one. Overall a great stay!

Great stay!

This was my second time staying this property and the location is wonderful. We arrived late Friday without any check in instructions but our host was very kind and apologized for the confusion. The space was nice but there were some ant traps and ants left behind in the kitchen. The water filter on the fridge also needs to be replaced but otherwise, space was clean.

Great basement unit of a beautiful Victorian home in south Alameda island.Large 2 bedroom and common living area / kitchen. Kitchen fully equipped including gas range / stove.Bathroom with great water pressure & hot water.Quiet, clean and close to Park Street restaurants. 2 blocks from a pretty park.Less than 1 mile walking to grocery / shopping / retail center.5 miles from Oakland airport, 45 minutes from SFO.Hosts 5plus responsive and attentive.

Comfortable Basement Apartment

The apartment was clean and in a walkable neighborhood. It's close to the airport and Bayshore to take the ferry in to San Francisco. Parking is on street and we were able to find a spot out front each day. The family does live upstairs and you do hear the pitter patter of feet - but nothing obnoxious. We would stay there again.

Quaint apartment in a beautiful Victorian.

Lovely property especially in June with their beautiful flowers in bloom. Convenient location within walking distance of shopping and restaurants. Nice neighborhood. Felt safe at all times. Owners are very nice and responded quickly to any questions I had. Enjoyed our stay!

A Good Experience

This was a perfect location and home away from home for me. Everything I needed was there and it was clean and convenient. It was close to South Shore Center and within seven blocks of my older son's home on San Jose Avenue. While both my sons saw the accommodations, I felt secure and fine there by myself.

Great stay

Super helpful host! Great location. We rode the bus into San Fran one day and took the ferry there another day. No need for a car! Would definitely stay here in Alameda again!

Perfect Place For My Work Trip

This was the perfect cozy place for my M-F work trip. Great location too, just a few blocks from park street. I had everything I needed and communication with Brian was wxcellent. I enjoyed my stay!

BSF! Best So Far!

We come to Alameda often to visit family, so I’ve stayed in many vacation rentals here and this one is just right for us. It’s very comfortable, clean, spacious and homey. The bed is comfy and the unit has every amenity you can think of. I’ve already booked for our next visit.

Great new listing

The apartment is very conveniently located. Plenty of on-street parking if you have a vehicle. Short drive to Safeway, Trader Joe's or Knob Hill plaza. Tons of restaurants within a (5) minute walk. The host quickly responds to any questions.

Delightful spacious apartment

My mom, my sister and I enjoyed a wonderful extended weekend in this well-appointed apartment while visiting local family. Rooms were large and there was plenty of space. The kitchen had new appliances and everything we needed. The location is walking distance to many restaurants, and coffee/tea shops which made for easy breakfasts. Parking was convenient and easy. Definitely will stay here again and highly recommend.

Very nice, a few adjustments would help

We enjoyed our stay, but offer suggestions to improve future experiences: add full length mirrors in both bedrooms, add robe or towel hooks in bathroom, provide foam mattress pads on incredibly firm mattresses, offer step stool so petite persons can reach shelves, provide detergent if laundry upon checkout is appreciated. Thank you!
