Come and experience the charm of Pinecone Cottage at the beautiful Massanutten Resort. Come and enjoy the water park, golf courses, and hiking trails, or simply relax at the cottage. It's the perfect place for memorable vacations or weekend getaways.

The Space
Are you looking for a peaceful home? Pinecone Cottage has 3 bedrooms, and 2 full baths and can accommodate up to 8 guests. With plenty of natural light, a fully-equipped kitchen, and a connected dining area, you can cook your own meals or grill on the back deck. Additionally, the cottage has two inviting decks to relax, enjoy a glass of wine from a local vineyard, and stargaze at night.

Guests have access to the entire cottage and all of its amenities.
Other things to note
If you don't want to pack your own shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, they are available in the showers' dispensers. Towels, linens, paper products, and laundry supplies are also included.

High-speed, wireless internet is provided, and off-street parking for up to 3 cars is available at the cottage.

Check-in is at 4 PM using the keyless entry. You will be given a code prior to check-in. While we hate for you to leave Pinecone Cottage, check-out is at 11 AM.

Turn off the lights and lock the doors

Check Out (11 am) Load + start dishwasher with used dishes. Place all used towels in the washer + start. Leave linens on the beds. Take trash to the dumpster. Turn off lights + lock exterior doors.

Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.

Pinecone Cottage was a wonderful place to stay! The owners thought of everything you might need for a comfortable stay. Fully stocked kitchen to fun board games. The house was immaculate and everything labeled. Loved the decor. Highly recommend!!!

Our stay was wonderful at pinecone cottage! It was so cozy, clean, and was well stocked with all necessities. The leaves were changing and so it was such a beautiful stay in the mountains. We also saw some deer in the front yard!
As we were leaving, we wanted to take a picture, and noticed some deer in the woods on the left!

“Say Yes to The Pine Cone Cottage!”

Very clean, well-appointed and well-equipped cozy cottage; quiet street great for walks, deck and porch very nice place to read a book, and catch the sun rays and drink in the nature; a family of deer greeted us each morning and evening; nearby pool very nice and inviting; pickleball was stellar; would definitely return.

Wonderful family stay

We enjoyed our stay at Pinecone Cottage. The house was very clean. For those staying in the summer, the A/C worked great. My young grandchildren thought the bunk beds were great! The HOA pool is very nice. The only slightly inconvenience was only 8 dinner plates and 8 sandwich plates. With 6 of us eating all meals at the house, we ended up running the dishwasher a lot. But the owners supply the pods, so we just had to remember to run it. If we go back to Massanutten' resort, we'll be back!

Pinecone Cottage was just perfect!

This was perfect for our needs. My daughter and SIL with their 4 kids and my husband and I had more than enough space. It was not a long drive up the mountain and so close to water park, tubing and ice skating. Cottage had to so many extra amenities, coffee, spices, soap, shampoo, trash bags, TP, etc. we forgot one of the kids toothbrushes and they had extra. Lots of pots and pans , pizza tray. Everything you could possibly need. We would definitely stay there again if we go back to the area!

This house has everything you could possibly need - Don’t worry if you forgot something because they most likely will have it. Great location, easy to get to anything on the resort. There’s a wonderful selection of books and games as well.

This is a wonderful little cottage. Clearly, it has been renovated and is well done. Lots of deer in the yard each evening which thrilled both young and old. Near the bottom of the mountain, so easy access to get to other places of interest. Host was very responsive and accommodating. I highly recommend this spot. Great value.

This adventure has been so fulfilling and we are thrilled to share this same experience with you.

Massanutten is a special community. It is calm, welcoming, and fun. To find an area that checks all of those boxes is rare. From our first moments there we knew we had found somewhere special. We just know that you will feel the same way too.

What makes this property unique

Pinecone Cottage is located within the gates of Massanutten. It is approximately 1.5 miles from the ski slopes and 2 miles to the water park. Our cottage is nestled on a private, quiet lot surrounded by nature and often wildlife visitors. It is the perfect location to unwind and relax.
