Why John Ingersoll chose Government Camp
I like to snowboard year round. Government Camp is an awesome one of a kind walking village, and a great location for winter recreation without the long drive. The surrounding Oregon Cascades are incredible.
What makes this Lodge unique
Close to downtown life in the village of Government Camp, all Mt Hood ski areas and cross country facilities. Good on site parking, kids can sled close to the lodge. Two Hot Tubs: one on each of the top floor decks!
100% refund if canceled at least 30 days before arrival date. 50% refund if canceled at least 14 days before arrival date.
Excellent place for a huge group!!
Five separate units, each with lots of beds, a full kitchen, and couches, PLUS a wonderful game room (foosball, ping pong, pool) and two hot tubs made for a fabulous place for our group of 20 adults and kids. Great location, in the heart of Government Camp. We'd definitely stay there again!
Great trip; John’s house is perfect for our group
The house fits our group (20 Dads & 20 kids). Everyone has a great time. Plenty of rooms to spread out. Hot tubs are great. Great location near town.
Perfect spot for us
Johns place was great for our large group of kids and adults. Game room was great, place was comfy, and clean and there were plenty of towels. Beds were comfy too! Always fun spending time in Govy.
Awesome lodge, great location, can’t wait to come back!
Boardwalk lodge was awesome! We had a group of 24 and we definitely could have been twice as many people comfortably. There is so much space, there was people in our group I felt like I didn’t even see! Units were quiet even when other units were up, game room was SO MUCH FUN! Hot tubs were pristine. We did lots of cooking and had everything we needed!! Even croc pots (which I had brought my own and ended up not needing).
The experience with the owner John was better than anywhere I had ever stayed. He was through with everything about the lodge, guest expectations, ect. Always a phone call away. Allowed us to drop stuff early the day of check in so we could head up the the mountain without full cars. Check in/out was also made available early which we appreciated so much.
The location of this place couldn’t be better. Walking distance to everything in Govy. 10/10 would reccommend, and we can’t wait to come back!
Also found out this was the old High Cascade house, which for any local boarders, is a cool piece of history. Thank you John!!!
Don’t hesitate to book this place. VERY WELL PRICED!!!
Exceeded our expectations
Our group of 30 had an amazing time in the home. Definitely recommend it!
Exceeded Our Expectations
We weren't sure what to expect but it was great! Plenty of room for our big family, lots of fun things to do, everything we needed to prepare our Thanksgiving dinner. Our grandkids loved the hot tub and the stairs to climb. We hope to go again.
