I was initially a bit frustrated as I had trouble with the app and could not get any messages nor the code to open the door. With some help from VRBO customer service staff I got in. Then Nikki was able to catch up with me and was a very good host.
Great little place for 2 to stay in Owensboro. Not far from downtown, it had everything we needed when we visited the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum for the closing weekend of the Garcia Grisman exhibit. The front porch was a great place to sit in the morning. Nikki quickly responded and answered any questions we had. The only bump was confusion about a front and rear apartment which we didn't know about and ended up in the rear apartment confused. But Nikki was very responsive and the confusion was a tiny bump and doesn't affect my overall 5 star rating.
This apartment is absolutely adorable, exactly as listed. We only stayed for one night as we had an event to attend and it was perfect! We had our Boxer with us and the small fenced in front yard was perfect for her to be able to walk around and potty. Would definitely stay again if ever in the area!
House was clean, had everything I needed. Nikki was very flexible and easy to get a hold of. I would definitely stay again. It had a small front yard with a fence that was very convenient for my dog.
The location was close to everything, including downtown and the riverfront park but was relatively quiet. The small fenced-in front yard was perfect - so nice just to let the pups out the door. The host responded to all inquiries quickly and cordially.
We had a marvelous time staying here. The yard and the porch were great for my three year-old granddaughter to run and play. It is a cute little place. Located close to restaurants and shopping. It was nicely appointed and felt homey. The bed was very comfortable and the tub was nice and deep. Great tub for soaking away your aches and pains away. We enjoyed our stay there and would definitely book again.
The apartment itself was beautiful and clean--the desk I needed for my online retreat/work, the kitchen, the living room, the comfortable bed, the bathroom...the washer and dryer was so appreciated when I had been on the road. I also appreciated the carport. The porch was lovely. The host's communication was excellent. The location was close to groceries, downtown, the river, etc. I felt safe in the neighborhood. The only reason I gave it four stars is because it was too loud for me. Please note that I do not own a TV and live on two acres in my home state. So having neighbors in the apt. behind me with a loud TV and being on a busy street was distracting when I wanted a quiet place to work and relax at night. But if you don't think you'll mind the noise and busyness during the day (or pack earbuds/earplugs), I do recommend this wonderful place.
