The evening stars and morning birdsong were magical at Cranberry Lake Lodge. Many varied types of hiking trails in the area. The cabin is comfy, cosy, and super clean. Absolute quiet of the location was a treat for us city dwellers!

Beautiful, peaceful setting. The cabin is well kept and extremely clean. Walking in it was warm and inviting. The table was set perfectly. Great communication with the renter. We had researched the area but loved that there is a binder there with information on the area.

Family Vacation

The cabin is beautiful and very nicely decorated! It was a bit difficult to find and the bugs were bad. Definitely need Off. Lisa was easy to talk to and very accomodating.

Peace

Very peaceful and gorgeous property. The dock area is a little mushy. Great place to make memories. Munising is a cute little town, and the pictures rocks are worth the hype. Download the Google map route for offline usage, was accurate to all our destinations when downloaded.

Wonderful Cabin!

We absolutely loved this cabin!! The cabin is beautiful, super clean and well stocked! I loved how the host, Lisa checked in to see if we needed anything. The location was perfect for our trails and adventures! We would stay again!

Great stay at Cranberry Lake Lodge

My wife, daughter, and I had a great stay at Cranberry Lake Lodge! The cabin is very clean and exactly as advertised. The surrounding area is very beautiful and quiet. The property manager was a great communicator and very helpful. Would love to come back someday!

Valentines/Presidents Day Sled trip

The property is set up great, very clean, hosted our crew of 5 adults very comfortably. We had great snow and Trails. Its a hike to the trails but easy, about 4 miles to the trail. Only issue we had was cooking. we had planned on making a dish for five but the biggest skillet was an 8" telon pan that the coating was destroyed on and another 6" skillet. No biggy but changed so things for meals.

Snowmobile trip to Munising MI

We recently stayed with a group of friends for a snowmobile trip in Munising. The cabin was beautiful! We had such a great time. It’s a beautiful area. Owner was great to talk with! Definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

Would DEFINITELY visit again!

Beautiful cabin, adorable rustic decor and the property was amazing. Tucked back in the woods with a great view. Property manager was awesome, made sure we had everything we needed and checked in to make sure we arrived safely. Would love to see this place in the summer months too 👍

Adventuring Surrounding Area

Cabin was spectacular. Decorations and set up was beautiful. Cozy and peaceful interior. We did not stay on property during the day as we adventured to picture rocks, Laughing Whitefish Falls and Kitch-iti-kipi during the day and was treated to sunsets and the best star gazing possible when arriving back at night.

Beautiful- secluded comfortable home with an amazing view

We were looking for a private home up North that we could enjoy with our 2 well trained dogs and this home was that and so much more. We enjoyed the lake with our kayaks and fishing off the dock was a blast. We hiked to multiple waterfalls and enjoyed other walks where not another person was around. Munising is a cute town to visit. Would highly recommend this home for a relaxing, recharging, reconnecting vacation.

Lovely Get Away

We visited the Cranberry Lake cabin in late June and had a lovely stay. The cabin was very clean, well appointed and very comfortable. Lisa was responsive to any questions we had. I particularly enjoyed the pitcher plants in the bog between the cabin & the lake.

Lisa was just the best host you can get. You can trust that she will he there for you if you need anything. We had a great time. We had everything we needed. The cabin was just beautiful and very comfortable.

Perfect UP Cabin Experience

My wife and I rented this cabin for a week in the late summer and had a phenomenal experience. We frequently rent cabins in remote areas for our getaways and this was absolutely one of the cleanest and coziest cabins we have stayed in! The view of the lake from the back deck is gorgeous, and the amenities left nothing to be desired. We would not hesitate to return or to recommend it to friends and family!

Remote and Peaceful Retreat

Very nice cabin in a remote location in Upper Peninsula Michigan. Kitchen was well stocked with all kitchen appliances and utensils..first place we’ve rented that had a crock pot! Lisa was very communicative and helpful to ensure a great stay. Pictured Rocks and trails throughout the area are beautiful. Rented a pontoon boat for 1/2 day to view Pictured Rocks which was the highlight of the trip! Be sure to bring bug spray -UP has lots of mosquitoes and other biting insects but worth it all for the benefit of experiencing the beautiful landscape!

Beautiful spacious cabin, private

We stayed here with our group of six and two dogs for a long weekend snowmobile trip. The cabin was spacious and had all the necessary amenities. We enjoyed the fire place and Bose IPod dock. Comfortable beds and 2 full baths are always a plus when traveling with a group. The cabin is about 6 miles from the trail. Not far, but with inadequate snow you may be doing a little extra maintenance on your sleds.

Great Quiet Cabin in the Woods

Our group of 8 loved this cabin and the layout. It was super clean, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and even the bathrooms were large. Even though the lake isn't a swimming lake, the view is gorgeous and the nightly sunsets were amazing! The firepit was also nice to sit around in the evenings. Make sure you bring your own chairs because the stumps aren't very comfortable. And bug spray.... lots of bug spray! The grill has some issues, with the ignitor and burner tube being rusted and not working properly, but our handy husbands got it to work enough to make dinner on it (after cleaning it) for one night. Also, if you drive a car, be warned, the road is a very sandy, unmaintained seasonal road. We encountered it the first time right after it rained in a big 4x4 truck and we thought it was bad. I'm glad we didn't have a car. Overall it was a great stay in a beautiful, peaceful and quiet location and we had an amazing time!

Forest Oasis

When looking for a cabin, my husband and I were looking for private and secluded. The cranberry lodge is exactly that. Located off a sandy path/road and right next to the lake, you can’t get any better. Lots and different species of pine trees surround this cabin and they make for both a wall for privacy from the semi-near by cabins but also a fun little adventure if you had kids to explore the area. Overall, this cabin is one of my personal favorites and hopefully, yours too😊

Labor Day getaway

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. Cabin was very clean and well appointed, beautiful setting. The beds were comfortable and kitchen was well stocked with needed equipment. It is quite remote, very quiet.
