This was the second year we've rented this property. The reason we came back is because we love the location and amazing views, and having so many bedrooms and bathrooms is incredibly convenient. Also the amenities (Jacuzzi, cold plunge, steam room, pool table, BBQ) are great. The cleaning service take care of almost everything so checkout is a breeze.

Great Stay for a Company Retreat

This is a great place for larger groups! Lots of space to eat and spend time together. The Spa area great as there you can do a cold plunge after enjoying the steam/sauna rooms.

Amazing house for our family reunion. House was stocked with many basic necessities (toilet paper, paper towels, water bottles, shampoo, etc) which made for less trips to Safeway. Owner was quick to respond to questions as well, thanks again!

Beautiful and well appointed home! We celebrated my birthday with our children and our grandchildren. Everyone loved having their own space to rest and relax, yet come together in the large spaces to enjoy dinner, games, and conversation. Thank you!!

Great View With Lots of Room

Our family had a very nice stay at this property. Very roomy with private baths in every bedroom. We enjoyed the view from the dining area over the spacious dining table.

Amazing stay for work friends ski strip!

We were a group of work friends on a ski trip, and our 3rd time staying at Vladimir’s place. The house was perfect for us to hang out, everyone had ample space and own beds, the spa area was amazing, and great long dining table for team building. Would book again!

Great location!

Beautiful house. Great for a large group (we had over 30 people). Some issues like Wi-Fi was in and out, hot tub had to be fixed, fireplaces were on (in the summer!) and would not turn off. Great location, views, hiking.

During these guests stay one of the two pumps in the hot tub stopped working, so only 1/2 of the jets were on. The repair was completed 2 days later, as soon as the required parts arrived. The WiFi provided periodically has outages in the Truckee area. Unfortunately there is nothing that can be done sine ExWire is the only provided to the upper portion of Tahoe Donner. The are pretty good about having it back online after an outage. The fireplaces turn off on the controller. Just use the button that says FIREPLACE to turn on and off.

Huge place!

Great place. Plenty of room for our party of 15. Sauna area particularly cool. Kitchen fridge not working most of the stay which resulted in some difficult meal prep. Property manager responsive

The kitchen fridge stopped working during the guests stay. A appliance repair company came out the next day and ordered a new compressor which showed up 3 days later and was installed. Sometimes appliances fail, luckily we have 2 additional refrigerators at the property for guests to use.

Amazing location and amenities

The house is in an amazing location and the views are even better in person. The house is massive, spa area is very nice, and really liked the bar area. House itself is a little bit worn in some areas, but everything else makes up for it by far. Would recommend!

Friends & Family Getaway

We had a group stay at this property - plenty of space for our families to hang out and stay. Loved having all ensuite options for everyone to spread out and hang out together! Some appliances seemed to be a little more run down (but work perfectly fine). Host was very communicative and accommodating. Would recommend a stay here again!

Wedding party

This property was just as advertised and just as beautiful! Even though the main fridge was having problems prior to our visit, the owner kept close contact and was able to communicate appropriately. Perfect rooms and stay for the 18 wedding party guest that my fiancé and I had! The amenities are perfect for a weeklong ski vacation.

Vacation getaway

Our stay at this location was nothing short of amazing. The bedrooms were all perfect size along with all the amenities and massive kitchen. We had a group of 15 people stay and the house was perfect size with tons of things to do. We used the hottub and cold plunges daily. Will definitely be coming back! The owner was very responsive as well

Amazing Christmas at this castle!

Very perfect home for a large gathering. Plenty of space to spread out. We had 19 people kids and dog and them home was still spacious. Cold plunge ad dry suana can’t be beat. This is my third time staying and won’t be the last!

Amazing place for my large family

My family rented this property to spend a cozy weekend celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday. We had such a wonderful time. The house had everything you could think of/need. All of the beds were extremely comfortable. Attention to detail made the house feel so welcoming. The towels were tied so sweetly, there was coffee set ups, so much was done at this house to make guests feel at home! We will definitely be back!

Has everything. Just lots of stairs. Needs getting used to. But has its own advantages for that. Great for different age group gatherings. Great host. Very communicative.
