Las hermosas vistas al mar lo rodean en esta romántica casa de campo en una aislada playa de arena blanca. Relajarse en la comodidad de tu terraza (patio) y escuchar las olas rompiendo suavemente en un arrecife lejano. Amaneceres y salidas de la luna sobre el horizonte del mar se sorprenderá y sorprender. Este acogedor 500 pies cuadrados. cabañas frente al mar tiene una sensación amplia, cocinas totalmente equipadas, lavadoras y secadoras, televisores de pantalla plana y un montón de juguetes y equipos de playa. Aparcamiento y wifi están incluidos.

Nadar, relajarse en la terraza, barbacoas y caminar en la playa y son mis cosas favoritas para hacer aquí; pero hay grandes atracciones turísticas cercanas para disfrutar también. El Centro Cultural de la Polinesia se encuentra a 5 millas al norte, el Turtle Bay Resort se encuentra a 10 millas al norte, seguidos de 7 millas de playas de surf más famosas del mundo y la histórica ciudad de surf de Haleiwa. Equipaje ligero, todo lo que necesita son unos pocos ropa, sus artículos alimenticios y bebidas favoritas y no tendrá que salir una vez que llegue aquí! (Cada cabaña es un edificio de 4 plex y solo está alquilando una de las unidades de la planta baja en el 4-plex)

Outstanding communication from host, even gave recommendations, not overbearing on "rules", very easy to work with. Location of this unit is unbeatable. Closest unit to the beach, and view from Lanai is unbeatable. Even on a rainy day we could sit on lanai and watch waves come in. At night the ocean breeze blew in and kept us cool. Slept to the sounds of waves which sounded like they were crashing on the walls of the cottage. Multiple turtles sighted. Learn what NOT to do to harm these endangered animals. (Spotted a monk seal swimming and a glimpse of a humpback out beyond the reef.) If we are blessed to be able to return, we will definitely stay here!

Great stay!

We stayed in a newly renovated condo which was beautiful, clean and comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. Location is perfect, beach is amazing and not crowded. Lots of sea turtles here! We would certainly stay again!

relaxing stay

Everything was as described, no surprises. The property was clean and fully stocked, plenty of towels and linens, beach toys, chairs, and pillows. Google maps didn't work using the address sent by the owner, we ended up driving around a little longer than necessary, but in the end found it based off pictures and reading mailboxes. Also the parking pass was not inside when we arrived so we ended up getting a notice on our car from security. Overall a great stay and i would recommend to anyone wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city!

Mixed feelings

wish instead stars there was a 1-10 scale. I would the give a 8. There a couple of reasons for this that I will explain. When we arrived at the cottage we booked we discovered that it was occupied.Confused I eventually got in contact with the owner. She stated she tried to call to say the cottage was being renovated (?)but the number was wrong.My fault.I later received two emails, I never saw till the day after my arrival.( the notation on it said yesterday).I think there could have been sooner notice by email. Being there was a family in it and it was presumably under renovation , I later E-mailed her that I was concerned that she may have squatters. So we relocated to the alternate site, that was in a nice spot, and linens, bathroom kitchen clean,comfy bed.Nice ocean breeze and sound for sleeping.That said it could use some love. There was clutter that has collected over time, curtains that could use a good wash.That said we did enjoy our spot which was actually a better location then the original. There is nothing like watching the sunrise over the ocean, or sun.In conclusion a solid 8.The lack of love my not have bothered us so much if we had not seen how nicely decorated A1 was, or the nice decor we have experienced during other visits to Pats. As well as a nagging (feeling) I say again feeling, is we were bumped because A1 could get a week instead of 4, to a site that felt we did not get what we paid for.

Disappointing

I'm not sure why the place has such great reviews, unless everyone is worried about hurting the owner's feelings. I'm sorry, but I don't want another couple to be duped the way we were. My boyfriend and I arrived the night of January 25th. Our vacation was a week long, however Karon kindly informed us the unit was only available for 5 nights and she could not accommodate us for the last night we requested, the night of the 31st. This was fine with us so we rented a hotel in Waikiki for the last night. My bf and I are both avid surfers and wanted to stay in the North Shore for the Volcom surf competition at Pipeline. We didn't want to do anything touristy, just wanted to live, eat, and surf as the locals did. We decided to look for cottages and decided upon this one. The night we arrived it was pouring rain. We gathered our belongings out of the rental jeep and trudged up the stairway to our unit. We had the email handy so that we could look up the access code to get our keys, but we punched in the numbers multiple times to no avail. Luckily Karon had left her phone number in the instructions so we called her for further information. Turned out she had accidentally switched a couple of the numbers around. No big deal. We typed in the correct numbers, and away into the cottage we were. Greeted by ant traps! Gross. Alrighty then, I guess they have an ant problem. Ants were pouring out of cracks innthe ceiling and marching along the window sills. There wasn't any food laying out or anything, so maybe it's just something that happens when it rains. We left them well alone and they didn't bother us much. We tried to log into the wifi with the email instructions, but again something seemed to be amiss. The wifi name she gave us was "NeatGear62" of which there was no such thing listed. We tried the next best thing, "netgear52" and plugged in the password we were given. This turned out to be the correct one. I wish someone had double-checked that email before it had been sent. The worst of all were our next-door-neighbors; a couple with three screaming children. If you're going to label something as a "dreamy beach cottage" please, for the love of God, mention that you will be sharing a wall with another unit. Furthermore, what was between the units could hardly be described as a wall; it was a thin, sliding wooden door which had been glued in such a way it could not be pried open. This was obviously supposed to be one single, large unit that someone

Awesome location, needs deep cleaning

Location and cleanliness are the most important items to us when we travel. The location was very good. Neighbors were super nice. The cleanliness of the condo was not good. This place needs a deep cleaning and replacement of the kitchen supplies, pans small appliances etc or at least a good cleaning of them. Bugs in the blender and grime on other appliances.. if you like very firm beds, then you will like this condo.. The patio was nice. Communication was very delayed from the host. I understand she works full time but there should be a back up phone number for emergencies to reach someone else.

Quiet, peaceful ... lovely location.

The cottage is small with great use of space to provide all you need to feel comfortable. The lanai has plenty of room to watch sunrises, whales breaching, the ocean and tropical rain showers. The owner was easy to contact with questions or to share information.

Great place!

Thank you so much for sharing your cottage with us! It was perfect for our honeymoon! The cottage was clean and very accommodating. Everything we needed was provided and we got a lot of use out of the beach equipment. The beach was literal steps from the porch which was amazing! It was quiet and relaxing. I definitely recommend this place to others!!

Wonderful get away

The pictures don't do this cute bungalow justice...it is literally right on the beach, you will fall asleep to the sound of the waves, and awaken to the most beautiful sunrises! We enjoyed the lanai so much-we ate every meal there, even brought our meals back so we could enjoy the views! Thank you Karon for sharing your beach bungalow with us! We hope to one day return to Oahu, and we will again be staying here!

Great cottage, great location

Enjoyed the cottage very much. Woke up everyday to a beautiful sunrise on the beach. Close to Polynesian Center and Kualoa Ranch, and great local restaurants - Papa Ole's and Seven Brothers Burgers.

Relaxing and Recharging....

Cute little cottage right off the beach

Adorable little quaint cottage just steps to the beach. Sliding door provides privacy to bedroom. Everything was supplied for us. We just needed clothes and bathing suites! Cottage porch was great for eating breakfast or having coffee so close to the beach. Very clean. Definitely recommend.

Perfect Paradise getaway!

I stayed here for an entire week with my family and loved every minute. It is exactly as Karon describes, beach front, cosy cottage and so affordable! I went with my family, two boys ages 8 and 11. We had a blast exploring the beach just outside our place. It was also conveniently located to get to the North Shore quickly and to Hanauma Bay and Pearl Harbor. The kitchen was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and the ocean view was just perfect. Karon was easy to reach and quick to get back with any questions I had. The wifi was no problem to log-on to (although I really wanted to be as unplugged as possible). I am recommending this place to all my friends and family for sure. I am already counting the days until I get to return!

Best place on the Island.....

If you are looking for a nice quiet and relaxing place to stay this is it. Oahu is very beautiful but this side of the island is the best. No worrying about crowds, parking spaces, resort fees or even internet fees. This is the place!!! It's very peaceful and safe. My family enjoyed our week at the cottage and would go back in a heartbeat. The owner is very kind and great to work with. We are very grateful that she shared her vacation home with us. Don't hesitate to book this cottage you won't be disappointed.

Very charming, very nice.

I think the WiFi info was not correct. Not worked as per instructions. And they differed per owner email and from Home Away.Get a kcup machine, include alot of bottled water. Fresh Flowers on table.It met our needs for a honeymoon and despite being dated all said did not detract from our stay. Would stay again here,absolutely. Beautiful view, semi private beach,right outside the back. Really amazing. A lot for a little.

This place was amazing and laid back from all the tourist.

My wife and I really enjoyed staying in our cottage on the North Shore! It was very quite and relaxing away from all the tourist. Right on the beach too which was an awesome view and it was like a private beach to ourselves. We recommend this place to couples or even families.

Nice Place

Great Oceanfront

Very cozy Oceanfront condo. We stayed in the R cottage for a week and really enjoyed it. There was everything going we needed in it and Karon was very responsive to the questions we had and gave great suggestions on food in the area and activities. Even though this is part of a large condo complex we felt it was quite private and very relaxing. It was fantastic to lay in bed and watch TV while you stare out at the ocean. We listened to the waves all night long and just had an all around great time. We would definitely stay again

Close to the beach

We had a fairly unfortunate experience. Expecting that I would receive details prior to our arrival on Oahu, nothing was sent and we were unable to contact the owner. We were pretty much stranded with our 1 year old daughter during a massive rain storm on the windward side of the island at night trying to access a condo. According to the host she sent the information but used her private email instead of the website (Homeaway) which unfortunately went into my junk folder never to be seen. We spent our first evening navigating through home away's customer service sitting in the car charging the cell with spotty cell service and a one year old child crying in the back seat. Homeway's customer service was prompt and after a few hours they were able to get us into the condo. Once in, we had no direction. The internet and tv didn't work and no information about the laundry, pool, garbage and so on. Homeaway informed us to contact the owner of the property to manage the situation but our contact (Karon) was not answering the phone and so we asked to be placed into a similar condo but Homeaway could only offer us a shared room in a house a couple miles away which was unacceptable. As for the owner of the studio she contacted us a few days later and put us up in a similar studio in the same complex. She promised us a refund for the nights without internet/tv but we have yet to hear anything. The place is situated in a beautiful spot with gorgeous views of the ocean. The condo is a little rickety but quaint and charming. Beware of the giant cockroaches run around on the floor at night.

Great Beach! Great Price!

My husband and I spent a wonderful week in this clean, cute cottage. They are situated on a lovely beach. I got up every morning and did yoga on the grass lawn, overlooking the ocean, watching the sun come up. We snorkeled right off the beach, and I even ran into a turtle! There were not many other people staying there when we were, so we often had the beach all to ourselves. The buildings are definitely sea worn, and will need updating, but they are clean and cute and none of this affected our enjoyment. Located near shopping, and lots of great food options. Would definitely stay here again. Great location, great price.

Our stay was great. The fourplex was as what we were told and pictures are exact. So close to the beach. Other neighbors were friendly. The security guard was helpful. Very clean place and complex. Excellent instruction for our stay.

A Flashback to the Past

We have had a charming retro beach vacation... A flash of the past for us! Our cottage with plumeria in full bloom... Gentle breeze thru coco palms... Music of ocean... Took us backto our childhood. Taking home unforgettable memories of sunrises... A little sand still between my toes! Our grandchildren said this was their best time ever! They are 5 years old. City life in Honolulu can be hectic, so I retreat to this cottage in the country for fun and relaxation. I live and work in Honolulu, but originally came from California, then lived on Kauai and Maui, before finally moving to Oahu. I love island living, and when traveling, I like to visit other islands. I'm a teacher, like to travel during vacations, and would be willing to trade time in my vacation cottage, in exchange for time in your vacation home, depending on the destination.

I've been coming to this beachfront location for 20+ years, and stay here often to relax and enjoy the beach. I fell in love with these cottages the moment I saw them because they are only 45 minutes from Honolulu; in a quiet, tropical setting and on a wonderful, safe beach for children. Since then, this place has become my 'secret getaway' with its semi-secluded location, white sandy beach, and warm tropical waters. Many wedding proposals, and small intimate wedding take place at this location. The homeowners and guests are friendly and many homeowners have owned their apartments for many happy years. The location is truly a secret spot, and you'll feel like time stops when you're here.
