About this property

Modern Mountain Forest Cabin

The cabin is located in a mountain community called Pine Mountain Club in Los Padres National Forest. The cabin has centralized heat and A/C, 2 TVs, 2 different Wi-Fi’s , an upstairs and downstairs porch available for use. In the neighborhood there is a pool, tennis courts, golf course, and club house. A trail head starts a block away from the house that leads to the downtown area—a 15 min walk away.

End of hall linen closet. Upstairs master suite / loft and downstairs bedroom.
Other things to note
If you have an electric vehicle and plan on charging it at our place please let us know ahead of time and we will leave out the charger cable.

Coffee grounds are in the bottom right hand freezer door. Delonghi coffee maker included.

Extra blankets, pool towels and towels, Kitchenaid in the linen closet at the end of the hall.

Perfect birthday weekend!

We stayed here for my birthday weekend, just my partner and I. We really enjoyed the fireplace, the cozy bed/bedding, cooking in the well stocked kitchen, the modern yet vintage style of decor, the upstairs massive tv and great sound system, seeing the stars at night, and great host Michael! We would love to come back here in the future.

Wonderful stay

Michael is a very gracious host who is quick to respond. The cabin is quaint and lovely, while the area is perfect for a quiet getaway close to hiking trails. Highly recommend!

The house was filthy, the furniture ripped, the carpets and furniture stained, the steps leading up to the deck was broken, the windows were dirty, spiders were crawling around inside and other bugs were on the floor, The air conditioning was not turned on for our arrival so the house was 88 degrees on the main floor and mid 90's in the loft bedroom. During the day the air conditioner could not get the house cool. There were no window coverings so you could not walk around the living room area in night clothes etc. Lights were burned out and at night there were only 2 light bulb in the living room that was not sufficient enough to see to read a book or even find things on the black table tops. No TV in the living room or downstairs bedroom, only one in the loft bedroom where it was always to hot to be in. VRBO pictures are very misleading.Laundry was in the garage in a very dirty little roomPoor, poor vacation experience! BEWARE and choose something else.
