Perfect getaway with agritourism experiences on a guest ranch! Secluded in nature yet 5 miles from Main Street Bozeman. Nestled next to Bridger Creek and Drinking Horse Mountain with miles of private hiking and walking trails available for our guests to enjoy the beauty and serenity that this guest ranch has to offer. The sound of the creek can be heard from every room in this newly remodeled and upgraded guest ranch bungalow lodge. Part of a 250+ acre guest ranch called Drinking Horse Ranch, this lodge is tucked away for relaxing comfort with a hot tub and amazing views! The sunsets, sunrises and wildlife viewings can be breathtaking. As owners of this guest ranch, we catch ourselves saying how lucky we are to live here and look forward to guests enjoying our bungalow lodge and our guest ranch experiences. We are the face of our guest ranch and provide personal meet and greets for all of our guests.  We have resident horses that love meeting new people and look forward to tasty treats, especially carrots. Our chickens, which proudly are labeled as Homegrown By Heroes, provide farm fresh eggs for our guests and Lilly the ranch dog is always happy to make new friends.  When staying with us, you will have an opportunity to learn about our agroforestry projects and witness the many timber products that have been made from making our forest healthier and safer (benches, picnic tables, raised garden beds, etc). We also have a 2 bedroom, 1 bath creekside guest ranch cabin lodge, and a fully remodeled 2 bedroom, 2 bath creekside and mountain views guest ranch farmhouse lodge, should this bungalow lodge be booked on dates potential guests are looking for guest ranch accommodations. Amazing property and wonderful hosts!

Stayed for 4 days. They house is better than described and very nicely furnished. Kitchen, bedrooms and living rooms were all well appointed and will definately stay again. Beautiful property for a great walk right from the front door. Thank you!

Amazing Trip!

The homeowners and the property was stunning! Close to downtown Bozeman, and the airport. They had the refrigerator stocked with breakfast items and freshly made brownies. Being as this was our first trip to Montana they set the bar high!

Amazing Home, Amazing Location, and Amazing Hosts!

This home is WONDERFUL! Our whole experience from check-in to departure was OUTSTANDING! Pete and Angie are excellent hosts…they provided us with fresh baked brownies, a wonderful pancake recipe along with all of the ingredients, and greeted us personally upon arrival. The home was exceptionally clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Incredible Stay!!

We stayed at this immaculate home for five days and absolutely loved everything about our stay. The property was breathtaking, overlooking a beautiful creek. The hosts were so generous and kind and event surprised us with some welcome goodies upon or arrival. We enjoyed our time relaxing on the spacious property and even spent some time fly fishing. Can't wait to come back again!!

Home away from home …. but even better !

Just perfect for this family ~we love being in the country! It was only a short drive to town & a nice scenic drive to Yellowstone. Angie & Pete were great to answer any questions we had. The warm brownies & other local treats were much appreciated! We loved the hot tub & relaxing deck too !

First time in Montana

We just got home from vacation in Montana. We had an excellent time exploring and seeing all the sights. The property owners were so nice and hospitable! They took us around their property one afternoon, made sure we didn’t need anything and offered suggestions for restaurant and things to do while we were here. The house was perfect. We will be back! I highly recommend staying here.

Drinking Horse Ranch

Our stay at the Drinking Horse ranch was fantastic. The bungalow itself has so much to offer — dinner on the deck overlooking the stream, fly fishing virtually out the back door, hiking on a Jeep trail up to a gorgeous mountain meadow with unbelievable views, and more. But the best part of the experience was meeting and chatting with the hosts. We were greeted with freshly baked brownies, and conversation about the ranch and all it has to offer. At one point, we even had a side-by-side tour, which was amazing. We hope to return often!

Ski Trip and MSU Visit

This VRBO is a hidden gem! Tucked away amidst nature yet conveniently close to Bozeman, it offers a serene retreat with the soothing sounds of Bridger Creek echoing throughout. The newly remodeled house provides comfort and stunning views, with private hiking trails adding to the allure. Additionally, it's just a short drive from Bridger Bowl Ski Resort, perfect for winter adventurers. After a day on the slopes, guests can unwind in the relaxing hot tub, taking in the picturesque surroundings. The presence of resident horses adds a charming touch, while the opportunity to explore the vast ranch property enhances the experience. Whether marveling at sunsets, sunrises, or wildlife sightings, guests are sure to find tranquility and beauty at this idyllic bungalow. With the option of booking the creekside cabin for larger groups, the hosts ensure a memorable stay for every guest.

My family absolutely LOVED our weeklong stay in the Bungalow at DHR! It was my husband and me, my parents (in their mid-70s), and my 25 yo daughter. 1) The Bungalow—this house is private, spacious, immaculately clean, and wonderfully appointed—with top-notch appliances, very comfortable beds, great water pressure in the showers, nicely furnished and well-stocked with all the odds and ends you need “a little of” during the week, like olive oil, & laundry detergent, as well as the stuff you need “a lot of” like coffee and paper towels! There are multiple options for outdoor seating to enjoy the gorgeous mountain views and overlook the peaceful creek. There’s a big deck on the 2nd floor with a hot tub, too! There is a 1st floor bedroom w/ king bed & step-in shower in the 1st fl bathroom which was importsnt for us! 2) The location—the bungalow, and DHR in general—has the best location in Bozeman! Only a few miles downtown, yet surrounded by hiking, Bridger Bowl, and has miles of walking trails on the property!3) The Hosts—this launches my review from simply 5 Stars into the stratosphere! Angie and Peter are the kindest couple you will ever meet. They are gifted in hospitality & treat you like family, from introducing their horses, providing eggs from their own chickens, sharing Angie’s delicious pancake recipe, to welcoming us w/ a bottle of wine & local chocolates. They really go the extra mile! Bottom line: None of us wanted to leave, and we look forward to returning soon!

Peter and Angela Serino are the owners/managers of Drinking Horse Ranch. They take pride in maintaining a well manicured ranch property that has hiking/horse riding scenic trails in the mountains and relaxing walking trails along the creek which are all on the 260 acre ranch. Pete is originally from Upstate New York and was overjoyed to buy the ranch property in 1996 after spending 25 years in Phoenix. The 4 season climate fits his lifestyle much better than the stifling heat in Phoenix. Pete enjoys horse riding, fishing, golfing and is quite the shark on the pool table. He is very industrious when is comes to using logs from the property to build many of the buildings on the ranch. Angie was born and raised in the Bozeman area. Being a true local resident is a rare commodity these days. She is an Army Veteran and served in the Desert Storm war. She hikes and/or walks the ranch property daily. It brings great joy to her to see the wildlife roaming around the property and even more joy to collect photos of these moments. Her second favorite thing to do is take photos of Drinking Horse Mountain which is literally in our backyard. Pete and Angie both like to travel and have enjoyed going to Italy, Portugal, Bahamas and Panama . They also enjoy traveling to visit their children (his and hers) which take them to Seattle, San Diego and Austin.

They are looking forward to hosting VRBO guests and sharing the experiences of this amazing property!
