We chose Maalaea Banyans because of it's fabulous views sitting right right on the ocean.

The unit was finished being remodeled in August 2023. Stainless steel appliances, split air conditioning, quartz countertops, and beach gear are some of the amenities you will enjoy during your stay.

This unit is steps to the beach, and has a pool for your enjoyment.

The unit is on the 4th floor with an elevator which gives you the best views in the complex.

The unit sits directly on the ocean and has expansive ocean views.

The third bedroom is a small bunk room with just enough room for a twin over twin bunk bed.

We love having meals on the lanai and walking the beach! Some of the features of the condo include:

The location was perfect for easy, 15-20 minute drives to kihei, wailuku and the airport. The Maalea area is fantastic, within walking distanceof the aquarium, a few finner spots and any boat tour you wanted to do you could find there! The condo is out of touristy zones, but close to a ton of beaches and the hana hwy isnt far. The beach down the road from the condo is excellent for a little boogie boarding and beach combing. Not a huge beach, but is awesome. The condo team provides all beach essentials (boogie boards, chairs, a few toys, and a cooler), as well as a few kitchen/bath essentials to get you thru the first day or so; you don't have to rush to the store and load up on provisions. We were here 5 days, cooked at the condo a dinner, several lunches and 3 breakfasts. The twin bunk room is small, but cool, dark and comfortable! The other bedrooms are cool, and the beds are great. Mahalo for a good time!

The property was great with a beautiful view. Each room has it's own AC unit that makes it comfortably cold. There were lots of amenities in the unit with beach chairs, towels, boogie boards and a great couch that fit the whole family. The view was beautiful as well. The only thing to know would be that the bunk room must have been a converted space and being so there were no electrical plugs in the entire room. We ended up buying an extension cord to be able to plug in phones and fans. Otherwise the stay was perfect.

The location is great because the balcony view is amazing! It’s walking distance from a beautiful beach where the water temperature is perfect. It’s also a convenient walking distance from Maui Ocean Center that’s attached to Maui Harbor Shops and Ma’alaea Harbor. The condo has everything you could possibly need for a beach excursion. The rooms were comfortable and air conditioning and fans worked great. We loved having the full kitchen that was well stocked with dishes, silverware and plenty of pots and pans. We thought it was a little strange to have the washer and dryer combo in the kitchen but actually turned out to be convenient to do laundry while having a snack! One morning we woke up to a loud hum emanating from the refrigerator but the host was extremely quick to respond and send out a tech to fix it and it was totally normal when we returned from our outings at the end of the day. Two things to keep in mind when considering this rental unit- there are two enthusiastic roosters outside the downstairs bedroom that woke us up at 4am every day. Fortunately I’m an early riser and animal lover so wasn’t a big deal but might be inconvenient for someone else. Also, it’s extremely windy in this area and we really saw and heard it during our last couple nights. It really sounds like the roof is going to blow off but again not a deal breaker for me. Overall I would love to visit again!

The unit had amazing views and was very comfortable. The third bedroom was quite small, but overall the unit was comfortable and well stocked. I particularly appreciated that the owner supplied enough laundry and dish detergent for our entire stay as well many other items (shampoo, beach towels, etc.). Would definitely recommend!

Location is a 5 min walk to the Ocean Center Aquarium. 10-15 min drive to surrounding towns for lots of different dining options. The property is accurate to the website photos. Overall good value for your money. View was amazing! Pool and hot tub were great! If this is your first time staying on property, parking is not assigned, it is first come first serve. Very private, and very quiet. Washer/Dryer very convenient. Lots of rec items for the beach provided. Lots of amenities for cleaning and showering were also provided. A/C in every room.On to things that could’ve been slightly better. In the bunk bed room there were dead moths on both beds. The sleeper sofa in the living room needs a new mattress. It’s very worn. The furniture in general in the living room needs to be replaced as it is worn down. We found several Beatles alive and dead throughout the living space. Furniture on the lanai is very worn, needs to be replaced with something that can be wiped more easily as we found lots of bird poop every day even after cleaning it daily. Only one TV in the family room, no separate TVs for bedrooms.

Nice Rennovated Property

This property was recently rennovates and was very nice inside. The complex overall was nice as well. Unfortunately, the elevator was broken during our stay so we had a 4 story climb each day!

We had a lovely time, it was a tight fit for 5 adults but we adjusted well. The only bummer is the A/C unit on lanai makes it unusable as it puts out a lot of hot air. Had to turn off inside the unit to enjoy the view. The condo heats up quickly since on 4th floor. Lovely grounds, well kept. Small beach has turtles that would beach them selves everynight

Great spot!

This spot is great for ease to the entire island. Oceanfront that is super close to the harbor if you are into boat tours. Quick drive to or from the airport. Only downside, is not about the property, but if you want groceries, stop at store in Kahului on your way from the airport. But plenty of restaurants super close.

South Side Condo

Cute and Clean and had everything we needed. Centrally located to see different sides of the island. It was a little too small for my family because my kids are adults and very big. Overall a nice place.

Very clean and updated

The property was ver clean and updated. The listing is Oceanview but there is no beach access from the property. If you love turtles this is the place for you. There was an abundance of turtles on the small patch of beach near the pool area.

Great Location

This is a great location, close to little towns and within an hour of everything we came to Maui to do. Condo is maintained very well, we enjoyed our stay as a family. We were very active and didn’t use the kitchen, nor the BBQ space outside. My only concern was with master bedroom linens and it was addressed immediately. One suggestion for the next renters would be to add more details to the communication about the parking pass. Signs posted on property that you need a parking pass or vehicle will be towed but we did t see any details until we were inside the unit. Otherwise great place to stay!

Location was great

The location was great for us who wanted to travel around the entire island. It is close enough to walk to the harbor. Check in and out was good. The manager was communicative until the last day when he didn't get back to me until days later. The cleanliness was not bad but it could have been a tad better. Floor needed mopping and a few dead bugs were laying around as well as bird poop on the balcony furniture. The best part was watching the whales from the balcony and also they provided boogie boards, beach towels, a cooler and chairs so you can take them to the beach. The only thing missing in the kitchen was a spatula (flipper) so I bought one and left it there. All in all, it was great stay for a family of 4.

Our family really enjoyed staying on this property. This condo had everything we needed. The AC in the master bedroom did not work for us at all during our stay, but it didn’t discomfort us at all. The property manager did come asap and try to work on it. We slept with the door open and the strong AC from the living room flowed into the bedroom. We also plugged in a small fan that was available in our room. Bugs were a problem. Even though we kept all doors and windows shut, we were swarmed inside by little black bugs. We’re from Hawaii so we understood these things happen. The more lights you keep off, the better. The hot tub was glorious. Not many hot tubs get that warm, and we appreciated the relaxation! We didn’t cook, but if we wanted to, EVERY cooking tool needed was available! The spacious refrigerator and freezer was fantastic for our family of 6. Communication with property management was excellent. They literally responded to us after 9pm on Easter weekend. We didn’t use the beach items, but the house was fully stocked with everything you would need for a family beach day. We didn’t hear any noise from neighbors. Airplanes fly right over but that didn’t bother us. Beds were comfortable. The room with the bunkbeds don’t have any outlets so that was inconvenient…we had set up charging stations downstairs so it worked out fine. Overall, totally recommend this place!

20th Anniversary

The property was just fine. The pictures make it seem bigger than it is. The location was good. You could walk to the marina or to the local beach---which was full of locals. So we ventured out to other public beaches and brought along picnics. The condo has a cooler on wheels, many low profile chairs, umbrellas, quick drying towels and we left behind a couple of balls for future renters to use. Had to buy more paper towels and toilet paper, which was kind of a bummer considering the amount we were paying. You could see turtles from the lanai and the pool atmosphere was low key and private. When hanging on the lanai it can get really warm because the air conditioning unit is out there, so when the air is on inside, it's quite warm outside. All or most units have the a/c pumping warm air out, so it's just something to expect and accept. I wish there had been a few more places to store away pantry items, but we made due. Because the unit is all the way at the end of the complex, means you will hear the chickens early in the morning. By day 3, we were used to it.

ALMOST PERFECT

Spectacular view all around. Everything you would need on vacation provided with top quality. Ac unit works amazing it was so cold we had to turn it down. Beds all comfy even the couch bed. My kids slept like a baby. Bunk bed room very tight and upper bunk not recommended for anyone you will hit your head on the ceiling and AC unit. There is a nat issue in that room also. BIGGEST COMPLAINT #1 poor quality in towels i washed them several times but the quality is so cheap I could not get the smell out. #2 is the worst ever. All the beds did not have clean sheets I found hair and sand in every bed. It had the previous guests stay all over. I was so disappointed my first night I stayed up all night to wash sheets pillow cases blankets and comforters to feel at ease during my stay. I would say invest in top quality towels and changed your cleaning service. Whoever they are they cut corners in all the bedrooms. This definitely is ALMOST PERFECT if not for those 2 issues.
