Spindrift - Right on the Beach-New Hot Tub

This home is right on the beach in Moclips Washington. You truly cannot get any closer to the beach. Sit back and watch the beautiful sunsets right from the living room or curl up on the couch in front of the gas fireplace and read a book. This home has 2 bedrooms and one full bath. The bedroom on the main level has a queen bed. The living room has a pull-out sofa sleeper for 2. The open loft upstairs has a queen bed and a twin trundle bed sleeping 4 in the loft. 

New Hot Tub

There is a 2-night minimum stay, 3 nights during the holidays. All homes have a cleaning fee. You must be at least 25 yrs. old to rent one of our properties. Strict 3 car limit parking is very limited. Dogs are welcome with an additional fee of $25 per dog per night plus tax.

Nice place. More along the lines of rustic beach cabin than luxury but a great little spot for us and our two kids, nonetheless. Distance to beach and a nice hot tub were a definite bonus.

The stay was good, we had to cut it short because we had family members that were able to come home from Dubai. The only real complaint I have is that when we walked around the house it swayed and at first I thought maybe it was not stable and going to fall down.

Suzie, Thanks for the great review. Sorry to hear you had to cut your stay short. The house is very stable. It was designed by an acratic along with quite a few other homes in the neighborhood As you could see it is built on " stilts" to take full advantage of the unsurpassed ocean front view and add additional parking underneath. Come back when you can stay longer, Rick

Perfect for kids and dogs

This was a perfect place for our family and dog. Timed it to hit a few days of clam digging, and this location was within walking distance to great digging. Will definitely be back!

Spindrift Beach House in Moclips is pure Pacific Northwest magic. From the moment we arrived, it felt like stepping into a peaceful coastal retreat designed for slowing down and soaking in every detail. The views are absolutely breathtaking — endless dunes, crashing waves, dreamy sunsets, and even deer wandering through the grasses right outside the windows. Every morning felt like a nature documentary and every evening ended with the perfect golden glow over the ocean.The house itself is warm, cozy, and beautifully positioned to take advantage of the scenery. Sitting by the massive stone fireplace while watching the ocean was one of those unforgettable experiences that makes you never want to leave. The huge windows bring the outdoors in, whether it’s mist rolling across the beach, seabirds along the shoreline, or the changing coastal skies. What we loved most was how relaxing everything felt. Quiet beaches, soothing ocean sounds, cozy interiors, and stunning views in every direction — it’s the kind of place where time slows down. Spindrift is the perfect balance of rustic beach charm and comfort.If you’re looking for a true escape on the Washington coast, this is it. We left already talking about when we can come back.

Overall accommodations were great. Home was clean, plenty of towels. View and closeness to the beach was amazing! It would've been nice to have some beach chairs, umbrella, and toys during our stay. I might also recommend a table and chairs for the outside deck as the weather was beautiful and sunsets were just priceless. We also enjoyed the hot tub. Communication was prompt and general directions for check out were easy.

Great location, but views are obscured by massive fireplace. It felt clean, but needs updating. The sleeping areas were very cramped. In the loft, we had to shift the main bed nearly 2 feet so we could get in from both sides (which would make the twin & trundle completely unusable if it had been needed). In the downstairs bedroom, you had to walk sideways to get into the bed. The only bathroom had a constantly dripping tub facet. The miniblinds were missing a way to tilt them. Several electric outlets didn't work (plugs would just fall out). Oddly, the Entire house gently shakes as people walk about. Engineer hubby says cross bracing in the parking area would resolve it (but we didn't feel in danger).
