Welcome to Tamarac at Colden Lodge on the beautiful shores of Lake Flower in Saranac Lake. This unique 1BR/1 Bath cabin is perfect for 2 people. Appointed in classic Adirondack style this fully winterized cozy waterfront cabin has a full kitchen, living room and private hot tub, fire pit, paddle boat for two and a tandem kayak. Just 25' to the waterfront this modified A frame has its own sandy beach and access to over 50 miles of contiguous waterways, and lakes via Oseetah, Kiwassa, Lower and Middle Saranac Lakes. The cabin is located just one mile to town and shopping in Saranac Lake and is located on what is called the narrows of Lake Flower. You may hear boat traffic passing in front of the cabin, canoer's and kayakers are often paddling by close to shore and occasionally vehicle traffic across the lake as the cabin is about 150 yards across the lake to the other side of the shore and is not ultra secluded but no one can see you naked. The pictures tell the story of where you are and what you can expect. This is the perfect waterfront camp you've always been looking for. Fantastic location and access. A true gem in the Adirondacks.

This cozy cabin had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend getaway with our dog. We loved the easy proximity of walking into town, while still being right on the lake. It was the perfect home base for all of our adventures, with a hot tub to relax in at night. Recommended for a great spot to relax, while still enjoying close by amenities offered by Saranac Lake's charming little downtown. RiverTrail Beerworks is a must visit!

Our full week stay at the cabin was everything hoped for and met or exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were always available during our entire stay and easy to contact. The cabin is an ideal get-away for a couple and the location is perfect. We definitely hope to return.

Really enjoyed the property. Close to town but a perfect private retreat. The fire pit was fantastic with stacks of dried wood provided. Started each morning with a kayak paddle and caught fish as a bonus. Plenty of kayaks and equipment for the whole family included with the property. Cabin clean and well equipped. Would definitely book again.

Highly recommend this little gem on Saranac Lake. Host is so welcoming and provided answers to a few questions we had. Looking out over the water on your private dock is stunning. Quick easy jaunt to the town. Def recommend bitter and bones for dinner! Great menu!

The cabin was cozy, comfortable and pristine. The hot tub was clean and totally relaxing. Everything we needed was available to us, the kitchen fully stocked with all necessary items, all the linens and towels as well as extra blankets. Even though the cabin was close to town (very convenient) it felt very secluded and private on the lakefront. Communication with the owner and property manager was exceptional. Our overall experience was exceptional!

Cabin was really nice, hot tube was excellent, but the walk down the hill to get to the cabin was quite scary.

Bobby, the host greeted me at the property and went above and beyond parking my car to facilitate unpacking.Very much enjoyed the property. I’m sure it’s exceptional in the summer being right on the water.

Great spot for weekend getaway!

Cabin on the lake with a hot tub was exactly what we were looking for. This place checked all the boxes, had everything you needed and was convenient to all the Saranac Lake area attractions. Host was super friendly and helpful in giving recommendations around the area. Would highly recommend this spot for any couple.

The host was very responsive and if we needed anything he was always there. Gave us a list of great places in the area to go. The cabin had everything we needed and the hot tub was perfect especially that it was covered. It was just a perfect romantic getaway. Would highly recommend and will be going back!

Upon arrival, we were greeted by our host, Bobby; there was no complex check-in procedure- just led down to the cabin by the host who helped us unload and carry items into cabin. Bobby went over the operation of all items in the cabin, including a bottle of cold sparkling wine in the refrigerator- a very nice touch! The bed was relatively new, supportive and comfortable with a variety of pillows to choose from and plenty of coverings. The hot tub was clean and ready for use with towels provided. The bathroom and kitchen were modern and fully functional with plenty of hot water. Bath towels were fluffy and thick. Kitchen was well stocked with plenty of dishes, glasses, cups, pots and pans, utensils, etc. There was plenty of wood for the fire pit. Lots of kayaks, seats, PFDs and paddles available and close to water. In summary, Tamarac Cabin was very clean upon arrival and Bobby, the host was friendly and easy to work with; we would definitely stay hear again, hopefully for a longer stay. We would give this property a 10/10 rating! Thanks Bobby!

This place is amazing! Has everything you could ask for. Private place yet in the the middle of Saranac on the lake. The owners are great... Great fishing from shore and paddle boat. Caught fresh fish to eat! Would love to come back here.Owners were readily accessible and very nice.

This was our first visit and it was absolutely beautiful, a little slice of heaven! Everything from the dock where you can sit and sip your coffee, kayaking, having a drink around the fire pit, to the cabin itself was wonderful!! We can’t wait to go back!!

The property was beautiful! We had a great time and would recommend this place and these hosts to anyone! We had an issue with the app and the company VRBO when we were checking in that had nothing to do with the hosts that made the process not great, but enjoying the property made everything better!
