The cabin was quaint and we'll maintained. The host was very informative and answered all our questions regarding restaurants and activities in the area. We had a very enjoyable time.

Thank you for a great stay! We spent two days riding the Susquehanock trails and the cabin was only 10 minutes away. Nice cozy place to go back to after a long day of riding!

It was a great little log cabin to stay and relax and also enjoy the area. It was beautiful inside. The only minor thing was the shower pressure, but not anything to keep us from going back.

Thanks for staying not sure why shower pressure is low it is a brand new system that was installed this spring I will get the plumber back out to look into it

Adorable cabin, excellent for a couple. Great location to explore all that the area and beyond has to offer. Communication with the host was excellent as was the check in, easy and efficient. Cabin was clean and had all modern necessities.

Penny is an excellent host! The cozy, comfy cabin was well-stocked with anything you could need. Though a bit dusty, this cabin is PERFECT for a weekend getaway for two. My wife and I enjoyed our trip and the proximity to Wellsboro, Leonard Harrison State Park, Colton Point State Park and more. Our pup enjoyed her weekend away with us also! Thank you Penny!

No closet space to hang clothing. Bathroom was cluttered with no place tostore toiletries, the small decorative mirror was not suitable for a bathroom,because it was so small. There were throw rugs throughout the cabin thatwere not anchored down and would move when walked on.

Small cozy cabin that was perfect for a weekend away for my wife and me. Communication with the host and accommodations was excellent. There wasn't much to do in Galeton as it rained all day Saturday, but we spent alot of time in the nearby town of Wellsboro at some excellent restaurants and visiting the small town shops. We also got a great hike in at the PA grand Canyon which was about 45 mins away.

Easy check in, nicely decorated with lovely patio and fire pit to enjoy the outdoors. Neighbors walking by were friendly and the back area is trees galore. I think we hit it at peak or near peak of fall foliage (mid October) so it was quite beautiful. The owner tipped us off on a restaurant called the Perma Stone Inn. She fairly warned us that they have the Biggest Burgers Ever. My husband chuckled and said that we are from Kansas and know a thing or two about beef. Well, well, well! He picked up our order and brought it back to the cabin. Oh my Gosh! That burger was as big as a dinner plate and loaded with lettuce, tomato's and pickles. Please consider sharing if you check this out. I thought I was being dainty (not that hungry) so had ordered a grilled ham and cheese. Oh my Gosh! It was almost as big, loaded and intimidating as the the burger. The cheese curds and home fries we ordered (as sides, hahaha) were also of huge proportion and all of these items were a very reasonable price. Needless to say it took us two days to finish it all. Okay, enough on the food tangent. You have been warned. ; )Nice place to visit and great place to stay. Would work out well for two people and maybe 1 child as it is one bedroom/one bathroom.Thanks Penny!

We had a wonderful stay in this cozy cabin! The location is perfect for star-gazing at Cherry Springs State Park and hiking the PA Grand Canyon. All amenities were included: well-stocked kitchen, clean bathroom with shower, comfortable queen bed, and warm electric fireplace. We really loved it! Thanks!

The owners make you feel very welcome and are always a phone call away. We got the chance to meet them and talk with them for a little while very good people and local.

Better than described and pictured. This cabin is a work in progress and had numerous improvements done since the listing pictures were taken, this is going to be a very nice place once the renovations are done.
