Newly renovated cottage close to downtown Hendersonville!

Come relax in a cozy cottage just 5 minutes or less from downtown Hendersonville, NC. Papa's Porch Cottage is tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains, and is the perfect location for a weekend getaway! The cottage includes two bedrooms (one queen, one full) as well as a queen sleeper sofa in the living area. It offers one full bath, a half bath, laundry, wrap around porch and outdoor fire pit.

Papa's Porch is the perfect location for an escape to a quaint mountain town that is home of the WNC Apple Festival. Papa's Porch Cottage is just 30 minutes south of Asheville, NC and 45 minutes north of Greenville, SC with many great outdoor attractions in-between. Enjoy everything from whitewater rafting, hiking, the Biltmore House, local concerts, many lakes and so much more!

Great little get away

This is a beautiful cottage and very close to where my family member is staying. Conveniently located to downtown and numerous restaurants. Kasie is wonderful.

We really liked this cute little cottage in the woods. The beds were very comfy. It was close to downtown and lots of places to explore.

Quaint Cottage with Wonderful Porch

We had a great time at this location. Would definitely stay again if I come back to Hendersonville. The beds were very comfortable, cottage was very clean, and host was very responsive when I reached out. The best part was the back porch where we would have coffee and eat breakfast in the morning!

2022 Honeymoon Trip

It was a wonderful property for me and my wife to explore Hendersonville and Asheville. We definitely want to come back and enjoy the area again! It was such a relaxing weekend and this house had everything we needed. We got to cook meals, have leftovers and sleep in!

Cottage in the Green

The cottage had everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was very close to some wonderful parks and proximity to downtown was ideal. There was some roadwork going on (gravel road) when we arrived, I am sure that is not the norm.

We’ve stayed here several times. Love the back porch and yard. Found that if you drive up the road a touch, there’s a turn around point. Very helpful!

Great Place!

My husband and I stayed here for week long vacation. The cottage was super clean and the kitchen well stocked with dishes, utensils, and every kind of cooking items we needed. The location is close to downtown Hendersonville and within 30-45 minutes of most thinking and tourism destinations in the general area. We visited Asheville, DuPont State Recreation Area, Chimney Rock, and Pisgah National Forest while we were here. Would highly recommend this cottage for a couple or small family.

Perfect location

Beautiful, modern and very comfortable home with fabulous kitchen and perfect layout. We could sit on the back porch and observe nature at work while we relaxed and took a deep breath. My brother's home was a brief walk on the country road- it felt very safe day and night. Kasey was a pleasure and very helpful!

Accommodations very attractive and comfortable. Very nice neighbors. GPS gave very confusing, obscure directions. Ran in to washed out road. Later discovered Jordan street entrance. Would be good to give easy, clear directions to get to the cabin. Lovely ambience!

5 Stars All the Way

The photos and other positive reviews are totally true - this is a new favorite place for our family of 2 parents, 2 college age kids and one goldendoodle. First, the cottage was spotless and had everything we needed for our stay including extra pillows, blankets, cooking tools, etc. Second, communication with Jarrett was ideal. Third, location is great whether you want to stay around Hendersonville or go into Asheville. This place deserves 5 stars in every way. We definitely plan on returning!

Christmas Surprise Visit

We had a great time surprising our old foster sons for Christmas. This was the perfect place in a great location in which we were able to bring our dogs with us. The property is so cute. Everything is updated and clean. Loved having the firepit, the patio set outdoors, the washer and dryers, and the fenced in yard! I

Papa’s Porch

Sweet little cottage with a great covered porch! Secluded wooded location just a mile or so from Historic Downtown Hendersonville, great restaurants and close to hiking trails. Kitchen was well stocked for cooking. Comfortable bed and nice bath. Easy communication and immediate responses from Hosts. We loved the natural feel of the property but it may be difficult for those with mobility or balance issues to maneuver the steps or yard. Having our dog with us was definitely a bonus!

Everything was perfect

We really enjoyed staying at Papas Cottage. Traveled to Hendersonville for a work trip that at a lodge on the mountain. They can’t allow pets so we booked here and we are so happy we did. We were 5 minutes from our work meetings up on the mountain but also 5 minutes from downtown Hendersonville and 10 minutes from restaurants and shopping. Even though you are that close, The cottage is quiet and serene. Every morning could here the birds singing. Very little traffic at all. We loved the fenced in yard and porch. The cottage was spotless and it looks brand new. They had everything we needed. We loved the area and when we come back we will definitely hope to stay here again.

We had to use the back door to get the house key, and there was no light and the deck was slippery. Lighting in living room was limited - either too bright or too dim. Ice maker did not work. Pillows and beds were fine, although they seemed smaller than advertised. Bathrooms fine. Heating/air was good. Would suggest a railing in parking area for safety.
