This rental unit has a private and secure entrance, but home has shared spaces outside of private rental unit. These are: game room, laundry room, and outdoor spaces including hot tub. Please respect these spaces, keep tidy, and respect quiet hours when using them. Keep clear of your personal items (with exception of skis or bikes in racks) when not in use.

Wide private driveway for parking. Driveway accommodates 3 vehicles wide and 2 deep. Please park accordingly and leave at least one lane free for guests in upper level apartment. No street parking, carpool if necessary or park extra vehicles in free public lots in village.
Keyless Entrance through game room/garage common area then enter through secure doorway with private code.

Game room, laundry room, and outdoor spaces including hot tub are common areas for guests in both rental units to enjoy.

Private backyard with koi pond, patio, fire pit, and hot tub areas for all guests to enjoy. Chairs and yard games, ski racks provided as well.

Beautiful place and location was perfect for holimont & holiday valle and walking into town. Very close to train tracks, but train doesn’t pass often. 10am check out seems kinda early, but not a deal breaker. The host was very communicative and attentive. Over all the stay was a great time

Fall Festival

We had an amazing stay at this charming property in Ellicottville! The cabin was cozy, impeccably clean, and well-maintained. The hot tub was a highlight, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring the area. We also loved spending time around the fire pit in the evenings—such a peaceful way to unwind. The location was ideal, offering a quiet, private setting but still close enough to town for convenience. The host was friendly and responsive, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a cozy getaway in Ellicottville!

Great Getaway

Michelle was wonderful with communication leading up to our stay! The house is very well maintained and has great amenities including the garage, hot tub, and firepit! We LOVED hanging out in the garage area- you can tell the owners put thought into this room! Very close to the cute little town area.. Dina's was a favorite! We will definitely be back!!

Great little getaway

Enjoyed our stay here, within minutes of the ski hill which was great with a family and different schedules. The games room was a nice bonus and added space to the unit. The owners were super great and responsive! It is a basement unit so something to consider for light sleepers/children. Also right next to train tracks without a fence - again just a heads up for parents to know with small children and/or pets. Overall a lovely stay!

room was not cleaned prior to stay

When we arrived, we found the room was not cleaned. I messaged the host who did not reply back for many hours on our day of arrival, her reply was after I went to bed. I have no way to know what time she replied as VRBOs app does not show the time of the reply. The host sent photos of the cleaning dated 10 days prior to my stay. I initially believed no one had stayed in the lower unit over that 10-day stretch, and someone must have come down from the upstairs unit as the door to our unit was wide open. Mistakes happen and I was not going to leave a negative review. However, housekeeping knocked on the door of the lower unit and apologized to my wife that our unit was not cleaned. Said there was a "glitch" and they never received the cleaning order. The host insisted she was talking about the upper unit, and the lower unit was cleaned, but that does not make sense. If she has time-stamps of the cleaning, it is my belief that she had to know that a guest had stayed in the room after that cleaning and prior to our stay. The unit was fine other than that, but I felt that the host should have replied sooner on the day of my arrival, what if I had a problem accessing the unit? I did not see her reply until I woke the next day, and we checked in around 7:00 PM. I never got an acknowledgement that a mistake was made. the host just insisted the room was clean and it was not. I took pictures but apparently VRBO doesn't provide a means in their messaging app for guest to upload them.

Why they chose this property

This quiet street is a perfect getaway and always feels like vacation. The location is close enough to town and Holiday Valley to walk there easily, but just far enough not to hear the noise of the nightlife.

What makes this property unique

The yard and property are very private being at the end of this dead end street. The gardens, koi pond, and evergreens make the outdoor space a beautiful oasis year round while enjoying the hot tub, campfire, or just having morning coffee on the covered patio. The finished and heated/cooled garage game room and bar make the space even more fun with darts, connect 4 and modern connectivity for music and tv.
