The Garden Room is a masterclass in intimacy—a secluded retreat for those seeking the solace of a hidden sanctuary. Tucked into the back patio off the Sunshine Suite with its private entrance, it offers the elevated feel of a boutique hotel suite. Here, the transition between interior comfort and the garden's edge is seamless. Close to Sedona and on an historic road boasting several vineyards that offer wine tastings, live music and creekside dining.

The property invites connection—or solitude, as you wish. Three suites share enchanting outdoor spaces: pea gravel pathways, tucked-away seating nooks, dining areas beneath the pines, and stargazing perches across 1.3 acres. A communal laundry is available upon request. We encourage you to wander, linger, and let the land set your pace. Feel free to greet fellow guests or steal quiet moments alone—we're here to read your cues. Whether you crave conversation or peaceful seclusion, we honor your rhythm. This is a place where stories intertwine, and connections blossom naturally.

In October 2009, Page Springs Road became the first designated Historical and Scenic Road in Yavapai County. While time has marched on, the essential character of the road—and the tight-knit community that calls it home—remains beautifully unchanged.

The area's history runs deep, stretching back to the 1870s when pioneers were drawn to the banks of Oak Creek by its remarkable natural artesian springs. Named for early settler James Page, this fertile pocket of the Verde Valley originally supplied fresh produce to the historic miners in Jerome. Today, Page Springs is a peaceful, lush oasis where towering green trees canopy the landscape, offering a vibrant contrast to the high desert. Despite its quiet, countryside feel, it sits just 15 minutes south of Sedona and 30 minutes east of Jerome, providing an easy escape from the bustling red rock tourism.

The road itself is narrow and winding, curving through the hillsides like a snake through the grass. Because it lacks shoulders, it isn't safely walkable, but everything you need is just a quick trip away. You can easily drive just a mile up the street to find public access to the cool, tranquil waters of Oak Creek at the Bubbling Ponds Nature Sanctuary or the Page Springs Fish Hatchery.

Even closer, the neighborhood’s famous creekside wineries and craft breweries sit just up the road, tucked into the leafy greenery. It is a vibrant corridor bursting with local flavor and unique treasures. On any given weekend, you might even see Gary putting his sign out for his Rock Shop. A one mile drive down a primitive road is awe inspiring and worth it if you have the car for it. If you stop in, tell him Drew sent you—and see if you can catch a smile.

Our vision is to create a peaceful oasis where you can stroll along quiet pathways, taking in the vibrant plant life and the local wildlife that frequently visits. We are constantly growing and working diligently to expand our usable grounds. For your safety and to allow us to cultivate new spaces, we kindly ask that you respect our natural borders and fences. You are more than welcome to view these developing areas from a distance, with the expectant excitement of knowing there is more to come! In the meantime, you'll find several beautiful spots perfectly situated for birdwatching or stargazing. When exploring after dark, please be sure to stay on the lighted paths.

Occasionally, you may see other guests, family, or friends residing on the property. While your absolute privacy will always be respected, you might notice a little normal day-to-day activity from time to time.

FOR OUR FOUR-LEGGED GUESTS:
The yard is a wonderful place for pets to enjoy, but please keep in mind that the front portion of the property is not completely fenced. We highly recommend keeping dogs leashed or closely attended. Additionally, this is a true nature corridor—it's not uncommon for a deer, coyote, javelina, bobcat, skunk, or even a stray cow to wander through. To keep your pup safe from these unexpected wild neighbors, please keep a very close eye on them during their outdoor time.

PARKING:
Guest parking is located right on the main driveway as you enter the property. For your convenience, all parking spaces and "no parking" zones are clearly labeled.

Spanning a perfectly curated 360 square feet, this self-contained hideaway offers a deeply peaceful escape with a total capacity of two guests.

Please Note: The Garden Room considers your absolute privacy and autonomy. It features its own dedicated, exterior private entrance off the back patio and has no interior connection or access doors to the main house.

At the heart of the suite sits a plush, inviting King bed equipped with a Smart TV and premium room-darkening shades to ensure a deep, restorative night's sleep. The room has its own dedicated wall-mounted AC unit and a small desk area for writing.

A generous walk-in closet offers plenty of room to unpack, decompress, and keep your sanctuary beautifully clutter-free. You will also find a private, sleek en-suite bathroom stocked with premium amenities.

The thoughtfully integrated kitchenette features a mini-fridge and microwave, perfectly suited for preparing light, organic fare or enjoying a quiet morning coffee.

For guests flying in, Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport is a scenic 2-hour drive south. If you keep driving to the very end of the road (about 6 miles), you’ll hit Brewha, a phenomenal social eatery boasting an incredible vibe and unforgettable cocktails.

The Halliday House property unfolds across 1.3 acres, where three distinct units—Sunshine House, Garden Room, and Dragonfly Cottage—are connected by pea gravel pathways winding through lush gardens and pine groves. Together they offer five king beds, each thoughtfully appointed with plush 100% cotton bedding, private bathrooms with tubs, individual AC mini-splits, filtered water, and high-speed WiFi. Lovingly refreshed over time, the property reflects a family's creative journey—an ever-evolving collection of stories, artistic touches, and locally scavenged materials. Each unit is cozy, uniquely charming, and thoughtfully equipped. Please note that 100% of cleaning fees go directly to our housekeeping team.

The Perfect Oasis – A Must-Stay!

I stayed in The Garden Room at the Halladay House while attending the Sedona Arts Festival as a vendor, and it was absolutely perfect. After long event days, I wanted a quiet, beautiful space to unwind – and this was exactly that. The room is so thoughtfully designed, with an aesthetic that feels cozy and intentional, making it a true oasis. Every morning, I enjoyed my coffee on the patio, soaking in the peaceful surroundings. There are so many small, thoughtful touches throughout the space that made my stay even more delightful. If you're looking for a place that offers both comfort and charm, I highly recommend The Garden Room. I can’t wait to come back!
