Dune Path - with Waterfront!

Summary:

Home with dock, firepit, W/D, Ping-Pong -walkable to the beach.

Spacious home nestled in the woods with just a short walk to private waterfront on Little Glen. Bring your boat! Bonus: a large basement game room with a Ping-pong table, air hockey, board games and darts.

The beachfront area (across the street) is outfitted with chairs, two kayaks, a canoe, a shuffleboard court, and a dock with a mooring device - all for your enjoyment.



The Space:

There is a full bathroom on each floor. The main floor has one queen bedroom. Upstairs there is a queen bedroom and another bedroom with 2 bunk bed sets (4 twin beds). If you need more space there is an additional "Caboose" that has a queen bedroom that is available right next door. Please inquire with property manager about the Caboose.



Guest Access:

You will receive a door code 2 days before your arrival



The Neighborhood:

Just a short stroll to the water (across the road) Just 5 minutes to downtown Glen Arbor.



Interaction with Guests:

We interact with guests only as necessary, but we are professional property managers with 24 hour availability in case our guests need anything.

The Dune Path home in Empire MI was beautiful, fully stocked with Linens, dishes, paper towels, TP, Kleenex, Plastic wrap, foil, Plastic bags, Spices, Ice maker on refrigerator, Maps of the town, Toys for kids and adults, extra blankets and Beach towels. Lots of room for everyone to spread out. Huge shower and soaking tub (grand kids loved it), Private Beach was great and extra nice with Kayaks, canoe, shuffle board and provided life jackets. The lake is very shallow which made it very nice for the littles to play in safely and very enjoyable walks for the adults. The area is absolutely gorgeous. The house backs right up to Sleeping Bear National Park and is in the middle of a forested area. At night it's so relaxing. And finding all the hidden Petoskey stones in the house was fun for everyone. We're already planning to return for our family gathering for next year.

Long weekend getaway

Our family enjoyed our stay at Dune Path! It was beautiful and quiet. Beds were comfortable, lots of board games for all ages, plastic plates for our toddlers, and walking distance to the dune climb.

Amazing location for visiting the dunes. The house was lovely. The only disappointment was with the queen mattresses. They both should have been replaced years ago and instead toppers were placed on top and either they need to be replaced or they just aren’t good enough to hide the fact the mattresses are so bad. If you have a bad back as I do or need a decent mattress to sleep you should consider that when looking at this property. We survived by having the kids take the big beds and sleeping in the bunks because those mattresses are reasonably new and supportive. We didn’t have any other issues worth noting.
