Or enjoy sitting in the yard at the Cottage to enjoy some peaceful time and watch for deer in the neighborhood. Being located in one of the Historical District of San Marcos allows you to admire many Victorian homes that have been preserved on a walk in the neighborhood. An added bonus is the Cottage is on the property of a Victorian House built around 1890.

this home was exactly as described. It was very easy getting in contact with the host and she also had one other person available to us if we needed anything. The home was perfectly located for our needs. It got cold the weekend we were there, the heater quit, but the homeowner had a portable one brought over immediately. We would definitely stay again.

My husband and I loved our stay. The lighted yard is beautiful and I wish we had been there longer to enjoy it more. The full size bed was a little small for us, but other than that, everything was absolute perfection! Highly recommend!!

Our stay in this lovely cottage was so beautiful and peaceful. The host was pleasant and is a retired TXST Alumni. We loved the atmosphere and hospitality. There are a few rock steps up to the yard from parking but very doable. Parking is shaded by a lovely well established tree. There is a ramp or steps into the cottage which was very nice. Beautiful art installations in the garden and yard.
